Get ready to relax in this 3-bedroom / 2-bathroom house with hot tub in Blowing Rock, located 0.4 mile from Appalachian Ski Mountain! With 2 twin beds, 1 queen bed, and 1 king bed, this charming cabin is perfect for a family or group of friends looking for a cozy retreat. Nestled among the trees, our private home offers a wrap around porch with rocking chairs...the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening! The cabin is dog friendly and includes gates on the porch so your furry friends can enjoy the fresh mountain air with you and a medium/large dog crate is available for guests who normally travel with one. Our 6 person hot tub is located on the lower deck and is the perfect place to unwind after your mountain adventures.* It is professionally maintained weekly and/or in between guests which ensures it is always clean and ready for use. Mountain Time is the perfect getaway home in all seasons...whether you are looking to escape the summer heat at home, enjoy the peaceful weeks of springtime, or experience the breathtaking fall leaves, you've come to the right place! In winter months, curl up in front of the cozy wood burning fireplace in the living room and watch the snow fall outside. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need, and a gas grill is also located on the covered porch. All of our beds have memory foam mattresses and include ultrasoft linens for a luxurious night's sleep. Enjoy the convenience of AC and central heat, wifi, washer/dryer, televisions in the living room and 2 bedrooms, and a hair dryer in both bathrooms. There is a dedicated workspace upstairs that includes a desk and comfortable chair for remote workers or guests can utilize the space as a vanity with a backlit makeup mirror. The house is family friendly with board games for all ages, jigsaw puzzles, cornhole, Giant Connect 4 and Jenga, books, and kids' toys. We also have a travel crib and baby gate for our youngest guests. Conveniently located between Blowing Rock and Boone, you can enjoy everything from top notch restaurants, hiking, Westglow Spa, shopping, Tweetsie Railroad, gem mining, and App State football all within a 10-15 minute drive! The house is also walking distance to Appalachian Ski Mountain for ice skating and skiing all winter! We think our home has something for everyone and will help you experience everything Blowing Rock and Boone have to offer.

The most perfect cabin! It was excellent for us, our kids (5 and 8) and grandparents. Location was great, house had amazing amenities and small touches (candy on the pillows, bath robes, welcome gift). We can’t wait to stay here again!

Beautiful Mountain Escape

We enjoyed our 4 day vacation here! If you're looking for an easy access to App Mountain for skiing/snowboarding, this is your place. The property was beautifully decorated, well stocked with necessities, and extremely clean. Even our pups (2 pugs) enjoyed snuggling next to the fireplace. Our two boys loved Carl the Caribou! We look forward to staying here again.

This is a great mountain home with a well stocked kitchen. We spent our Thanksgiving there and really enjoyed just being together. The owner was very prompt answering my questions.The town of Blowing Rock is really cool as well. I would definitely recommend renting this home.

Beautiful cabin

We loved that we could walk to the ski resort and we took walks every morning around the neighborhood which was beautiful and quiet. Restaurants in Boone and blowing rock were a short drive . The cabin was beautiful easily slept 4 adults , kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook meals and the fire place was cozy . We will definitely be back !

Wonderful home

We had a fantastic stay at this home! Perfect for families wanting to enjoy some quiet relaxation but also close enough to Boone and Blowing Rock to enjoy what each town has to offer. The home is beautifully furnished, incredibly clean, and very comfortable. Our dog loved sunning in the reading nook and roaming on the gated porch. The hot tub is well kept and super clean. Communication with the owners was clear and seamless. They even left a handwritten card and bottle of wine for us upon our arrival! We had a fabulous time and would love to stay again the next time we are in the area! Thank you so much!

Cozy Cabin within walking distance to Appalachian ski Hill

Very comfortable and updated home which easily accommodated our family of 5 for a few days of skiing. We walked ‘home’ each day for lunch from the ski hill. Kitchen was well stocked - maybe the only request would be to add a kettle for making tea. Josh was super responsive to all of our questions. Strongly recommended.

From the moment we arrived at this stunning home in the North Carolina mountains, we knew we were in for something special. Every detail has been carefully thought out to create a luxurious yet warm and welcoming experience.The bedding and linens were absolutely top-notch—like sleeping in a cloud. We were greeted with a handwritten welcome note, a complimentary bottle of wine, and even treats for our dog, which was such a thoughtful touch!Carl the Caribou, the chalet’s charming (and Instagram-worthy!) mascot, added a playful personality to the space. Each morning as we enjoyed our coffee on the front porch from the rocking chairs we were entertained by playful hummingbirds drinking nectar from the feeder. The entire home was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Communication from our host was exemplary. Thank you for sharing your home Ashley and Colin! We would love to come back sometime!

Wonderful, beautiful cabin, close to everything

This place was awesome. It fit our needs perfectly and is such a great little place. We had no trouble finding it and getting in, (thanks to the detailed instructions provided to us from the owner). My wife, brother, and his wife all enjoyed being there. The weather was also perfect the whole time we were there. We spent our days out and about, and evenings after dinner hanging out at the cabin. Everything was nice and clean and ready for our visit. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook when we didn't want to go out. It was such a comfortable place to hang out in the evenings after seeing the sites in Blowing Rock and Boone. Many thanks!

Ski weekend getaway

Very clean and nice place overall. Hot tub was great and right off the side porch/deck. Location was great as we were there to ski. Walked to /from the slopes; very convenient. All the needed supplies (e.g. kitchen, hot tub towels, etc) were provided. Great communication/reaponse time from owner. My only suggestion would be to describe the road more clearly. Specifically from the house until it reconnects with the one way road. This was pretty steep and twisty when covered in ice and snow which was the case when we were there. But since we could walk to slopes it wasnt a huge deal but would have been nice to know in advance. Would definitely stay again.
