Lady Slipper ~ Charming Studio Apartment in the Red River Gorge

Lady Slipper is a one room apartment on the second floor of our main timber frame lodge.  Nestled on the backside of our headquarters, Lady Slipper offers seclusion with easy access.  It has a separate entrance and a private patio nestled right up against the forest canopy, and a cozy kitchenette and private bath inside -- make yourself at home!

This is a perfect place for hikers, climbers and outdoor lovers, because you can hike right from your porch out onto the many miles of trails in the Red River Gorge Geological area.  Within easy walking distance to the Martin's Fork Trailhead and the Military Wall and Left Flank climbing areas!

Staying in a Red River Gorgeous Cabin is truly a one-of-a-kind experience.  Because all of our hand-built cabins, treehouses and apartments are unique, we wish to inform you of their individual features so you can come prepared to enjoy your stay to the fullest.

Kitchen:  Lady Slipper features a kitchenette complete with a large toaster oven, coffee pot, mini-fridge, 2 burner cooktop and sink.  Cookware, dishware, dish soap and kitchen linens are also provided.

Living/Dining:  Table for two inside and a private porch with outdoor seating.

Bedroom:  1 Full bed

Bathroom:  Sink, toilet, full-sized bath tub with shower

Additional Amenities:  Wifi, heating and air conditioning, ceiling fan, box fan, shared fire pit.

Firewood is also available upon request.  For $25 we will deliver firewood  to your fire pit.  Please be sure to mark on your reservation if you would like firewood delivery.  Please be sure to put out all fires completely when you are finished and do not harvest from our woods.
