We stayed with friends and had a great time. The property is small, but perfectly located within walking distance to everything and had everything we needed. The island is just so beautiful and we had such a fun time reconnecting with our friends. The only weird thing was the small homeless encampment in the parking lot. People hung out and some lived there and were friendly, but it was a little unsettling.

Our stay at the Sherman Cottage was central to the amazing time our family had on Block Island.Top three reasons: communication, location and amenities.The communication with Holly could not have been better. She was accommodating, informative and present.Being able to walk everywhere made this location perfect for our family. From the ferry, restaurants, shops, fishing or beaches, The cottage itself had all the comforts of home and then some. The welcome basket was a wonderful touch, as were the beach chairs and outdoor shower.If your group of six are looking for a central location on Block Island I don’t think you could find better.

Cute, fully equipped cottage, great for a family vacation. Right in the center of town, just steps from shops, restaurants and the beach. Excellent communication from the host.

Ideal location

Sherman Cottage is a perfect spot for a quick trip to Block. Incredible location right in town and beach access right out back. The AC is rare for Block Island and much appreciated. The space is small but just what you need for a nice stay.
