Very pretty home, peacful, had everything we needed for our stay even a highchair for my Great Granddaughter. Will book again. We were in area for a party and was convenient to everything even the Erie Zoo which we visited with the kids. Will book again.
Perfect location for us. House was larger than expected with many different areas to sit. Host was responsive and even had some snacks and cold bottles of water when we arrived. Each room had it's own AC unit which worked well for us. We will definitely stay again.

We look forward to hosting you and your family again!
We had two families stay and it was great. Each family had a full bathroom which is nice. Property was well maintained and clean. It does not have central air but the window air conditioners worked great so it was not an issue. Short walk to private beach access was priceless. Mazza winery is walkable too.

We are so happy that you had a great time. We hope you come back and visit us again!
Very spacious, comfortable home. Host thought of everything including tissues in every room, full soap dispensers and shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Tons of soft fluffy towels as well as beach towels. We loved the back yard with its large outdoor seating and great fire pit. The sunroom was our favorite spot. The neighborhood is quiet. A great walking road. Our only disappointment was the beach. Lots of rocks and not much sand. Definitely would choose to stay her again.

Joan and her family were great guests! They left the house just as they found it. We would love to host them again!
If you want to stay near Erie but also visit Lake Erie Wine Country, it doesn't get any better than this house. The vineyards are literally in the back yard, while Lake Erie is basically in your front yard! We saw the most beautiful sunsets by walking just a few minutes down the street to the beach access, and the vineyards in the back yard were the perfect backdrop for family photos. This house had plenty of room for our group of 7, and the back yard was very private, peaceful, and relaxing. Barb was an excellent host, the house was very clean, and the street was very quiet, with minimal traffic. The kids in our group loved playing in the large, flat back yard, and we all enjoyed having fires in the firepit in the evenings. Barb provides plenty of games for your use in the backyard. The croquet set was a big hit! Presque Isle is an easy 35 minute drive from the house, making it a simple commute to visit all of Erie's attractions. We can't wait to stay here again in the future.

About the host

We live on the west side of Cleveland Ohio. We have been happily married for 34 years and have 2 married sons. This past summer we became grandparents!!! Our family enjoys sharing this beautiful space with people who appreciate what it has to offer.
Why they chose this property
This area is especially attractive to us because of the private street, kind year round neighborhood, and beautiful views. Easy access to bike trails, walking, great restaurants, and shops are 10 minutes away in town. The private close lake access is wonderful for catching a sunset, canoe/kayak ride. Many people wade or swim in the clean water and look for sea glass.
What makes this property unique
The vinyard in the backyard is very nice. Eating lunch at the table, having a bonfire and enjoying friends in the evening while checking out he stars is very cool. There are several different places to sit inside and outside to get a little privacy. The house is very spacious, so 8 people work out well. The yard is wonderful for kids to play, and many families have enjoyed the close lake access.
