We really enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing and there's lots to do close by. Sitting by the water watching the sunset with a bottle of local wine was the highlight.
Absolutely coming back to this property, would live here in a heartbeat. Couldn't ask for a better host. My wife and I saw two bald eagles while on our stay at the cottage, amazing sunset.
Stunning location!! We were thrilled with the view, the quietness of the surrounding area, and the tranquil setting of the house. We were looking for a quiet respite and that is exactly what this place will do for you. We fished from the dock and the cliff, we didn't catch anything, but it was so wonderful to just be together with my husband. We had coffee and watched the water and just mellowed out and finished the day by seeing the gorgeous sunsets. Rock hunting was great fun too.! God is good and we were thrilled to get a couple of days away from duties, jobs, and obligations. Thank you for sharing your home.
Perfect quiet location to spend the evening after wine country tours and diner out. Serene environment to wake up to every morning. Host was exceptionally helpful and communicative whenever I had a question. Great location, great area and fantastic property owner.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We love to create an awesome place to help our guests celebrate the special times in their life!
Nice peaceful place to stay. Was a little upset that the water was high and there was no beach at the cove, as stated in the information and seen in the pictures but it was beautiful. The inside of the cabin was very nice. The outside needed some clean up but over all it was a nice weekend.

I am sorry Lake Erie took the beach away. This has never happened to us before and we have owned the property for three years. We asked the prior owners and they said, yes, sometimes it does that and then it comes back. There is never a large beach. Also, it is so wet in the Spring that we cannot mow the entire two acres. There are some areas as you can see we got the mower stuck multiple times. Fortunately, in June we are able to mow everywhere. However, we are always able to mow dirrectly behind the cottage and by the firepit which are the only areas that guests will go.
The privacy and the views definitely were not oversold. The view from fire pit looks tropical. We found Five & 20 Spirits and Arundel Cellars on our last night, wish we would have found them sooner. The impromptu band at Five & 20 was outstanding.
We loved our stay at the end of the gravel road from the main highway. The grounds are well kept and invite strolling around a bit, with the groundhog. The host maintained excellent communication. The bed upstairs is very comfortable for sound sleep. This is very close to relatives in Pennsylvania. We'll be back.
The cabin was very nice, clean and had everything you needed. Bit of a problem with drowsy bees though. Had to rid around 10 of them. Not sure where they were coming from but Overall it was a lovely place!
Fantastic seclusion and waterfront, a rare combination. Only one other home is even visible from the property, and it did not appear to be in use at this time. Also the wildlife, we saw deer, groundhogs and chipmunks right on the grounds, and bald eagles overhead.
This is an older home which shows its age on the outside, but the interior is nicely redone. If you like total seclusion and waterfront sunsets, this is a great choice.
If you are looking for a place to unplug, rest, and relax, this is the place. We took advantage of the location and spent a day in Niagara Falls. We also explored some of the local area beaches (Twenty mile beach and Shades beach). We were lucky enough to drop the ladder one day and swim in beautiful Lake Erie. The property is absolutely beautiful. We picked wild blackberries and enjoyed the sunset each night from the dock. We are returning to life rested and rejuvenated.
The host is great! They took care of us very quickly when a concern arose.
This was a girls trip for my daughter's and I. We LOVED the Cove so close to the house! We had breakfast on the ledge above and were mesmerized by the huge crashing waves which sounded like thunder at times! We got drenched once even though far away. The sunsets were breathtaking unlike we've ever seen! The water was way too rough to swim in while we there but someone did just a few days before our stay. The yard was filled with beautiful wildflowers. We brought folding chairs which we were SO glad we did to be able to sit near the waves. The house was very comfortable and unique. It had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay. It would be great to see it at another time of the year!

Thank you so much for staying with us! Yes, Lake Erie can be as calm as glass one day and powerful crashing waves the same day. Would love to have you back again! Glad you enjoyed your stay and beautiful sunsets!
This trip was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will absolutely never forget. The view on the property is something out of a movie and it truly offers a piece of mind that no longer exist in the world we live in my fiancé, and I enjoyed attempting to fish at nearby docs, we also locally made wine and enjoyed sitting by the pellet stove where we got warm together we watched bald eagles, fly in the morning and observed black squirrels, climbing trees in the location. We have made it our agreement to try to travel somewhere every year, it is easy to say that this one will likely never be topped. Thank you to the host who is easy to contact and willing to go out of his way to teach us how to use the pellet stove. Nearby beaches offered a form of peace that seems to cleanse the mind and offer a gratitude unlike anything I’ve experienced. The diners in the area offer a warm small town interaction that feels connected in a way that I thought had disappeared in 2025. The amount of wildlife that we observed was phenomenal in the scenery in the fall is something a picture just cannot capture. The suggestions made by the host were thoughtful and kind. Because of this trip, I have a little more gratitude for my life, and I counted as one of my biggest blessings thank you for allowing my fiancé, and I have one last adventure before we become husband and wife I will cherish this place in my heart forever
This is the first property my wife, son, and I purchased in 2020. We completely gutted 80% of the interior and remodeled it. We fell in love with the property itself before ever going inside the cottage. We had no idea how much fun it would be creating the perfect getaway. At least two couples were engaged on the property. Two are planning to marry on the property. Many couples celebrated anniversaries, birthdays, and life with friends and family. We love to help people celebrate and enjoy their stay. We always strive to exceed expectations and love making your stay a special time. Because it is such a private setting we keep our distance, unless you need something. Looking forward to celebrating life with you!
Why they chose this property
This property is amazing! It has concord grapes, blue berries, and raspberries all around. Wildlife abounds with deer, bald eagles, foxes, and birds. It is close to many attractions (Finley lake, Chataqua Institute, Waldameer, Presque Isle, restaurants, horse back riding, Amish trail, farmer's markets, beaches, and more.) But nothing beats just enjoying the sunsets of Lake Erie, fire pit with chairs and picnik tables, and swimming in Lake Erie. It feels like you are on a deserted island, except you often see fishing boats in the distance on Lake Erie.
What makes this property unique
The sunsets, privacy, and Lake Erie are incredible! The cottage is cozy and for cooler days and nights, the pellet stove creates the perfect getaway from the rest of the world.
