El Pais Motel and Campgrounds, founded in 1948, is located on historic Route 80 in Tucson, Arizona. We have restored our motel rooms with exquisite care and attention to detail. The rooms feature paintings by local artists, with curated antique period furnishings, appliances, and decor. Interiors restored and designed by FIT graduate interior designer with a passion for bringing new life to old spaces. Our collection of antiques and custom art pieces has been likened to a museum, with much of the property open for all guests to explore a variety of vintage blast-from-the-past experiences - fun photo opportunities around every corner! A truly special, one-of-a-kind, vintage vacation destination for travelers looking for not just a bed for the night, but also an immersive and memorable time away. Super awesome spot! The staff is really friendly, and the property offers uniquely communal spaces for all its guests. If you have friends with campers, this is definitely the spot you want to be in! The on demand water heater wouldn't stay warm in our room, but at least the club house offered two full bathrooms as a backup resource.

The hosts were great! Very responsive to minor issues that arose. Its a fun funky older property with a lot of heart. The ONLY reason for 4 stars was because I’m sensitive to fragrances and whatever they use to wash the linens had a very strong odor.
