COCOA'S COTTAGE!! Pet-friendly! Near the Beach!

Two bedroom, 1 bath open floor plan. Ground-level and pretty, fenced-in yard. Perfect for guests with pets!

There's so much to do on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and this is a great place to launch. This property is located on the eastern edge of Pass Christian, Mississippi, near Long Beach. There is ample parking and a place for your boat, too! Ideal for couples or families. Will accommodate 4-6 people. Respectful pet-owners and their pets are most welcome. Our little cottage has all the creature comforts of home, including a piano for music lovers!

Within a 10 mile radius there are fabulous restaurants, golf courses, harbors, casinos, deep sea fishing, pier fishing, wade fishing, quaint shops, antiques, beautiful views, parks and walks, river rafting, historical homes... and of course, the beautiful, white sand beaches! Only an hour from New Orleans!

Cocoa cottage

We had a nice stay. The beach was in walking distance. We didn’t walk in the beach though because no dogs were allowed. We did sober shipping in the surrounding area. The kitchen facilities were more than adequate. We cooked some of our meals but also enjoyed the local restaurants. Lauren was responsive to our questions and concerns.

As usual the entire process was easy. Lauren responds immediately during communication. We love staying here, it’s clean and comfortable, home away from home. We stay here once a yr to enjoy sister time lol. Absolutely our go to house when visiting the coast!

Our stay at Cocoa's Cottage was very enjoyable. The property was accurately described in the listing and the photos were very helpful. The property was very clean and well maintained and the owner was helpful in answering any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this vacation property to others.

The Great Escape

We enjoyed our time at Coco's Cottage. The house is conveniently located to all the local sights. The outside seating area and yard are fantastic and the home itself is perfect for a getaway. We loved it and plan to return on our next visit to the area.

Cutest Cottage with everything you need

This was the cutest cottage! It had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and had room for the 4 of use to be cooking together. Close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. The fenced-on yard was perfect for the dog. We had such a great time and would highly recommend.

Wonderful winter get away

The cottage was very cute and clean. The location was wonderful. The host was easy to communicate with. Our dog absolutely loved the fenced in front yard! The only suggestion I can make for improvement isbto teplace the couch snd loveseat.

Sweet & Cozy Cottage

Comfortable cottage with everything we needed for a family of 5 (middle school through teens). A perfect walk to the beach! Quiet neighborhood. Picked up delicious peaches sold by a local farm at the end of the road.

A short walk to the beach...

The house was close to the water and we enjoyed watching the sun set. Although the house is in a neighborhood setting it was very quiet at night. The location was perfect for us , and just a short drive to Gulfport and Biloxi. I really enjoyed discovering Pass Christian and all this small town has to offer. The home had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.

Sweet little house

Location was great, just a few blocks from beach. Quite neighborhood. Fenced yard was great for my lab. Owner was easy to communicate with. My only negative was living room sofa and love seat, needs to be replaced, very uncomfortable.

It was fine

The fenced in yard was great for 2 dogs. A comfortable place. There wasn't much that I wished it had but didn't, except maybe a better electrical outlet in the bathroom. Not much water pressure in the shower but one learns to adjust. Overall, we enjoyed it.

Cocoa's Cottage in Pass Christian, MS.

Recently, my husband and I stayed on the coast at a small home off the beach in Pass Christian, MS. Cocoa's Cottage is conveniently located with a short drive to nearby Long Beach, and a reasonable drive east to Biloxi or west to Bay St. Louis, and beyond to New Orleans. The house is immaculate and comfortably furnished. It has a fenced yard and is situated in a very quiet neighborhood. We found it easy to get to the beach for daily walks. Additionally, there are several excellent restaurants nearby. We will definitely return to Cocoa's Cottage for a longer stay next time.

Christmas & anniversary getaway

We came in for Christmas with our little pup. The home was immaculate and the heat worked well, considering the freezing temps. Nice kitchen, we cooked two meals there. The king size bed was very comfy. Living room was comfortable and we felt at home. Owner was fabulous and always answered very quickly and was very helpful. Nice neighborhood and great location. The yard looked really cute but it was too cold to enjoy it. We would definitely love to stay there again.

BEST KEPT SECRET ON THE GULF COAST

Our one regret was not reserving the cottage for a longer stay. Everything was more than we had anticipated or expected. The cottage was very spacious and accommodating. We especially liked that there were t.v.'s in every room and the kitchen was very well equipped with all the amenities we needed to enjoy meals while watching the early sunrise. The cottage was just far enough and just close enough to the beach to make daily treks to the beach a memorable event. We are definitely on the reserve list for next year...and the next....and the next.

Meet our needs

It was cute met all our needs comfortable and 90% clean. Went above in the kitchen area had disposable plates seasoning and oils. They even had a 1st aid kit and beaxh toys ect to be used. There was a few issues like the floors had some sand and what not and the pull out bed had a few issues but it wasnt a huge concern for us. Easy fixes. The manager was super communicative and very well spoken! Truly apprricate all the help she gave us.

Originally from New Orleans, I moved with my family to the area when I was young and grew up less than three miles from this precious little house, where my grandparents retired. I still live close by in nearby Long Beach. It has meant a lot to me to restore and remodel this home, making it 'new' again. It is my pleasure to make it available to others to enjoy.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in my family for a number of years --- my grandparents retired here, and my father lived here, too. I acquired it in 2010 and named it Cocoa's Cottage, after my dad's canine companion.

What makes this property unique

This cottage is completely fenced in--- a great place for children or pets to play. Also, it is wheel-chair friendly. Are you a musician? This cottage has a spinet piano for you to enjoy. Cable, wireless internet, stainless appliances, jalousie windows, ceiling fans, oak trees, spacious front porch and back patio for grilling. Parking for up to four cars and/or a boat.
