This fully furnished residence is in one of the best neighborhoods of New Orleans. Centrally located in Midcity with easy access to everything. The house dates to 1923 with gorgeous old glass windows on all sides. The light is amazing. There are two real bedrooms and a 3rd (without a closet) that works perfectly as an office or comfortable short term guestroom. The outdoor spaces in this home are incredible. A front porch overlooking the street is a perfect perch for sipping coffee in morning or wine in the evening. The backyard feels like a private park with a live oak serving as the centerpiece of the landscaping. There is a large screen porch for relaxing in the shade. A gas grill on the deck off the kitchen is perfect for summer barbecues. The best rooms of the house are the family room overlooking the gorgeous yard and the living/dining room. The well appointed kitchen combines vintage charm and modern convenience with fantastic equipment and utensils for amateur chefs. We supply you with with soap, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels and detergent to start off your stay so that you need not get to a store right away. We are 10 min walk to Rouses on Carrolton. We include weekly cleaning (laundry is not included).

We live in Chicago in the summer time, and we live in New Orleans in the winter. We tend to go south after Thanksgiving in the first or second week of December and we head north after Jazzfest in the spring. This rental is our winter home and would love to share it with folks who need to be in New Orleans in the summer.

This house is really well situated, convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and some of the best bars in the City. Pal's lounge is .6 miles away and touts itself as the best neighborhood bar in New Orleans. We walk the dog daily in City Park or along the Bayou St. John.
