Not Rustic...Not Vintage...Just a Dump

The building is just absolutely unfit to serve as a rental. A few of the issues you should be aware of, in no particular order:- On the side of the house is a large, open pit full of foul water, coming from a pipe leading into the building, a major hazard if you have small kids, and merely disgusting otherwise.- The water was shut off during our stay. We complained to the landlord who told us it was due to work being done in the area, but when a worker from the local utility came to restore service, he informed us the water was shut off for prolonged failure to pay. - When we arrived at the property there were notices on the front porch from the local power company threatening that the electricity would be shut off soon if back charges weren't paid.- There are large holes in the floor of the kitchen that are simply covered over with a rug.- The water heater is shared by at least 3 units, so every shower is a roller-coaster of hot and cold.- The TV and two of the burners on the stove don't work, and the oven was full of chewed up plastic and mouse droppings when I arrived. - The toilet is broken is several places, and is so close to the bathtub that I had to sit sideways. - The sink in the bathroom drains very slowly. I bought drain cleaner, but that failed to improve it at all.- There are bins of old empty bottles mouldering outside.I could go on, but I'm out of space. I wish I could share pictures. Its a dump.
