SUMMARY

La Luz embodies the best of Santa Fe’s historic East Side. This charming one-story adobe is steeping with Southwestern style, offers ample outdoor space, and is perfectly located to explore Canyon Road, The Plaza, and everything else that Santa Fe has to offer.



LIVING AREA

The living room features an authentic kiva fireplace to the side of the couch for ambiance. A sleeper sofa is provided for additional guests.



KITCHEN, AND DINING

The fully functional kitchen features a pass over bar, stainless steel appliances, neutral tile countertops, and white cabinetry. It opens to the dining area, which seats four and looks out onto the patio through glass French doors.



BED AND BATH

La Luz features two primary suites outfitted with king beds and en-suite baths, which makes it perfect for two couples. The larger bedroom features its own kiva fireplace. The larger of the two bathrooms offers a deep, spa-like bathtub.



OUTDOOR SPACE

La Luz has a large enclosed yard that is perfect for dogs and people alike, featuring a hot tub, a gas grill, outdoor dining, and an enchanting koi pond adorned with a fountain fed by a babbling stream. In addition, there are two private enclosed patios, one adorned with a fountain.

- The fireplace is available from October 15th - April 15th

- The outside of this home is monitored by security cameras

- All-wheel or four-wheel drive is recommended when renting this home in the winter months.



La Luz's koi pond requires service every other Wednesday, which cannot be opted out of or rescheduled.

Absolutely stunning home! And they actually supplied a huge amount of wood for the two kiva fireplaces which we really used as it was the first big snow storm of the year in Santa Fe.

Another Amazing Santa Fe Visit!

La Luz was a wonderful property. It is located in a great part of town, easy walk to everything. Close to Kaune’s - a favorite local grocery with great local meats. Beautiful amenities. I will be staying here again! Thank you 2 Calista’s!

This house has a roomy interior as well as a spacious patio area with stream and small coy pond and hot tub. It is close to downtown Santa Fe with all of the resraurants and shopping you could ever want, We very much enjoyed our stay.

New Years 2025

skipped over to Santa Fe to celebrate the new year and found this lovely little home which accommodates our pets. There was a wonderful hot tub in the back to watch the sunset every evening and super close to every place we wanted to go will definitely stop by again.

I could totally live in this house. We stayed there twice and loved it both times. It is in a great location where you can walk to the downtown area but also has a tucked away feeling that gives you privacy. The house has all the amenities that you could want! Hope to stay again.

Beautiful getaway

First time to Santa Fe. The Casita was the perfect location, close to everything and super comfortable. Really enjoyed hiking, dining, vistas, farmers market and shopping One request for the next guests: see if you can dial down the amount of chlorine in the hot tub, a bit harsh on the lungs.

Wonderful Historic Eastside Property

The property is conveniently located in the prestigious historic Eastside and is a true gem. Walking distance to both the Plaza and Canyon Road, this property is perfect for guest seeking a dining and art-focused trip to Santa Fe. Beautiful and relaxing

This well appointed casita was so relaxing. Off the beaten path, but still very close to downtown Santa Fe, it was easy to relax, enjoy shopping, check on the pup and slide into the hot tub at the end of the day. We WILL be back.

This is a great home that is well stocked and very clean. The location is perfect to the historic square and Canyon Rd. We walked to restaurants and other points of interest. The hot tub was an added benefit that the family enjoyed. When we go back to Santa Fe we will definitely stay here again.

Great historic eastside property for a couple or small family

Comfortable bedrooms, good size kitchen, well-appointed adobe. Quiet location, good proximity to Canyon’s art district but tucked away up a short steep hill. My only caution is to be conscious of unexpected steps in and out of master bedroom and bathroom.

Santa Fe Summer 2019

Our stay at the Two Casitas B unit was excellent. We were close to everything and yet in the court yard we were a million miles away from the hustle of Santa Fe. We come often and will certainly be back.

House has been very nicely updated with terrific, modern bathrooms and incredibly comfortable common areas. The walk to the Plaza in downtown Santa Fe takes less than 10 minutes and getting to Canyon Road takes even less. Great experience.

Superb!

There is so much to like about this property! Great location as it was easy to walk to town! Excellent service from the management of this property - with emails and texts giving us clear directions and guidance. The kitchen has high end appliances and all you need for cooking. It was a perfect property for two couples traveling together as we each had our own bedroom and bath. We highly recommend this property if you are looking for a great place close to town.

La Luz was the perfect weekend getaway for our birthday celebration with friends!

This charming warm property is so perfect! The style and comfort details were fabulous! Smoke alarms sensitive so use over head exhaust when cooking to avoid that. Also we found not having furnace on while having a little fire is a good idea (cold air return wreaks a little havoc with air flow out the chimney)

This is a beautifully decorated and well stocked rental. Beds super comfie and all pristine. Very nice hot tub. Fenced yard for the dog. Firewood available to enhance experience in kiva fireplaces. Kitchen has very nice appliances and access to washer and dryer a bonus. Great internet but honestly never turned on the TV. Perfect for 2 couples and private for each with bathrooms. Highlight....bottle of wine and chips and salsa waiting for us. Made supper easy after a long drive.

Perfect stay in Santa Fe

This is a beautiful property and exceeded our expectations. Perfect place for two couples as each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen is very well appointed both in terms of appliances as well as pots/pans, etc. We had a great time cooking a couple of meals and relaxing at home. The property was very peaceful and we enjoyed all the nooks and crannies with seating areas. We could enjoy relaxing as a group or get some privacy in the smaller patio areas. The running joke is that we were 0.8 miles from everywhere we visited, restaurants, galleries, etc. We love the fact that we could walk everywhere, especially since we wanted to take full advantage of the Wine and Chile Fiesta. We definitely felt like we got a 5-star experience. We will definitely look at staying at this property again as we visit Santa Fe at least once per year.

La Luz is a lovely property. I actually thought the whole check in process was a bit confusing though. We weren't given the address until just a week before we arrived. I would have liked to have known the address a bit earlier. We are very familiar with Santa Fe and that would have helped. A couple of other suggestions--there are no clocks in the house that I could find. Also another car parked in our parking space on Saturday. But it is quite a stunning place--and the art work is outstanding as well

Charming Property close to Plaza

We stayed at this property with our two adult children and their dog. The casita is ideal for two couples, with a generous master bedroom and ensuite bath, large closet and pocket office. The other bedroom, also with ensuite bath, was on the opposite side of the casita so there was plenty of privacy for both couples. The property is charming without being fussy and we felt very relaxed and at-home. The kitchen is large and well-equipped which we greatly appreciated. We ate out most meals (because of restaurant week!) but this property is ready for guests who want to cook-in. We also enjoyed the hot tub every day. The plaza is an easy walk from the casita. This property is tucked back away from streets and is extremely quiet. We especially appreciated the local vernacular architecture - adobe construction, rustic log beams, real wood fireplace (two of them!). Our stay here was just what we wanted for a short pre-spring getaway from Colorado!

Birthday celebration

Think property needs lots of work… floors are in bad condition, landscaping is not good and is pretty ugly! Hard to watch tv because doors of tv cabinet do not fold back so only can see tv from couch not any of the chairs. Takes a long time to get hot water to the back bathroom…. Personally, it was not worth the money! We did love our time together and being in Santa Fe though.
