Kitchen has all new appliances with modern kitchen layout and design. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to enjoy a home-cooked meal or feast on take-out. Coffee-maker and toaster oven are included to start your day off right.

WE PROVIDE ALL LINENS: Bathroom towels and sheets provided at no additional charge - one less thing to worry about bringing! Small assortment of beach towels provided.

OUTDOOR ACCOMMODATIONS:

Brand new, private heated pool with tanning deck. If you are a sun-lover or like to stay in the shade, the outdoor area has accommodations for both. Pool is heated March-November.

Brand new private dock on the canal overlooking intersecting canal waterways. The canal provides direct access to Intercoastal Waterway (ICW) for boat-owners. Bring your boat and be steps from it for a day of boating fun.

Sit on the front porch to enjoy the sunset or lounge on the large back deck to watch the sunrise. Back deck features bar top seating for your entertainment.

This house is perfectly located - it's minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants but far enough away to enjoy a quiet, relaxing vacation in your own resort-style home.

OIB is a family-friendly destination beach. It offers a small-town feel with locally owned shops (ice cream, surf shops, etc) but within driving distance to larger beach towns including Myrtle Beach and Wilmington.

Everything was exceptional! The house was so perfect for my family. We celebrated my daughter’s 16th birthday and it was the best family vacation by far. My grandson loved fishing off the dock on our down time. And the pool was in the shade in the afternoons from coming off the beach!! Will definitely be back!

Cute, cozy and clean! Serene views. We enjoyed waking up and having coffee on the deck overlooking the canal. Love the beach decor and natural lighting. Comfy beds. Host was very communicative. Lots of extras included- beach chairs and towels, board games, puzzles, books. Couch was very comfortable, although we would have preferred a sectional or another chair since there were 6 in our party. Also, was a minor inconvenience to have to wash all towels before check-out, as we could not shower in the morning before leaving. Overall great stay, would recommend to anyone!

This was a very nicely recently remodeled house. The pool was refreshing and partially shaded in the afternoon. The dock worked great for our boat and jet ski, and we even caught a few crabs. I’d suggest getting a golf cart for a short ride to the beach, but also they are just fun to have on the island. Ocean Isle Rental - Son of a Beach was a property that easily slept the 10 people in my family and it was well stocked.
