About this property
Spacious Victorian on Quiet Village Street
After a long winter (and great ski season) spring is finally arriving to the mountaintop. This is a 5 bedroom Victorian house on a quiet tree-lined street in the center of Tannersville. An old house; it is simple, clean and comfortable but with charm and character. There is a spacious kitchen, a large dining area with huge family dinner table and a wood burning stove. The adjoining lounge area features a 48" flat screen Smart TV. Also downstairs is a bedroom and a bathroom with a shower as well as a separate laundry/mudroom with access onto the back deck. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub and shower. There is a back deck with a gas grill, charcoal grill and portable fire pit and a front porch with a picnic table. The house can sleep up to 14 people and has parking for several cars. It is a short drive to the Hunter Festivals and within walking distance of Tannersville's lively bars, restaurants, shopping and the Orpheum Theater as well as Tannersville's Huckleberry trail which is perfect for jogging and is bike and stroller friendly.

We spent a week at this lovely antique home. There were plenty of bedrooms/beds to fit our extended family. Jack was helpful in providing info for local dining as well as offering to supply what we may have needed. Kitchen had all the necessary amenities for our stay. House was cozy and warm. We enjoyed several nearby hiking areas and restaurants. Everyone we met was friendly and kind. Thanks, Jack, for a nice week to relax!
We had a family of 8 members ! The house was nice, clean

We loved staying at Jack's home. It is very spacious and it has lots of charm. We loved the back yard bbq area and used it a lot. We immediately felt comfortable and are thinking of visiting once again in the future.

Great Location, Charming House!
We stayed at Jack's house for Columbus Day Weekend. We were a big company with lots of kids, and we all fit very comfortably! What we (parents and kids) all loved is that the house was less than 30 min drive to all the sight seeing and activities we wanted to do. It's also very short walk to the local restaurants/cafes to get breakfast/lunch/dinner. The house is clean, charming and inviting. And, last but not least, Jack is a caring host, who provided us with very useful local information and made sure that we had everything we'd need for having a such a nice weekend! If we are back in the area we'll definitely consider Jack's house again!

Comfortable & Convenient Stay!
We rented Jack's home to attend the TAP NY Beer Festival at Hunter Mountain. What I loved about Jack's home was that it's a very short walk to the Tannersville bars/restaurants and a short drive to Hunter Mountain, making it so convenient. My group also loved that there were so many bedrooms-- many of us had our own room, and we were a big group. Jack's house is cozy, rustic, and has everything you'd need. The kitchen is spacious, and there's a large dining table in a separate dining room, which also had a wood-burning stove! Overall, just right for our needs and our stay.
