The house was very comfortable for our family of four. It was conveniently located just 1 block away from Colorado Ave in Old Colorado City, so we were able to walk to dinner and shops. We had some trouble with the lock when we arrived, but they were quick to reply and got it fixed right away. It was a wonderful stay, and we would definitely return!
Easy access to a lot of what the area offers. The house is old but listed as such and we found everything to work. The host was fantastic and communicated perfectly. We didn’t spend much time in the house, other than sleeping or an afternoon nap between events, but it offered all the amenities we needed for the trip. We generally felt comfortable if we walked to a nearby restaurant during the day or evening. Depending on your level of comfort and experiences, you may notice a small number of individuals coming and going from an apartment complex or lingering in the area. That said, we were never approached in any way and enjoyed the experiences in the neighborhood.
This house was perfect for our stay in Old Colorado Springs. We didn't realize that the days we booked actually coincided with Territory Days, so that was an added bonus when our grandkids came to visit. We were able to simply walk there. In addition, the fact that we had a driveway to park on instead of street parking made returning home from outings simple, even with the added congestion of the festival visitors. We truly enjoyed our time in this extremely comfortable home and would book it again. In addition, the property manager (Josh) went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. Super grateful.
