My family had a splendid visit in this house! We were able to walk together to go get coffee in the mornings, do various easy to moderate hikes within a 10 minute drive, the house was clean and comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, the questions I had of owner were answered very quickly, the house was spacious, and neighborhood quiet. We would consider booking here again.
A great house and location for our group of 8. We didn’t cook during our short stay, but the kitchen was well stocked. The rooms and bedding were lovely. Especially nice to have a main floor bedroom. We enjoyed the walkable neighborhood and fantastic proximity to Garden of the Gods Red Rock Canyon, Manitou Springs, and Colorado Springs Colorado College area.
Host was communicative, understanding and was flexible with any additional questions I had. Would absolutely stay here again. House was clean, in a quiet neighborhood tho right next to a school. We didn’t have any problems with since it was a weekend. But a great stay nonetheless
Bathroom and carpeting and dining table were very poor. Refrigerator reeked of chlorine. Someone living in basement that wasn’t disclosed until we heard someone at night beyond one of the interior doors. Communication was prompt however dismissive.
This house was in a quiet and clean neighborhood that was great to take walks in. It was close to Old Colorado City and downtown Colorado Springs. Very comfortable and quiet house.
The property is lovely and very clean. We were quite comfortable. We also found a very good, fun restaurant within 2 minutes of walking: Suma. Excellent service and food.
Traveling with a couple and 3 singles, it was such a blessing to have separate bedrooms and bathrooms. It was nice to have a room on the main floor for the senior using a walker. Quiet neighborhood and good parking.
This is not the entire house. There is a basement unit also rented out and the backyard is shared amongst 3 units. You can hear everything the basement unit says. Be prepared at check-in to get rules about noise sensors, stains/damage, etc that aren’t listed on the posting rules. Even though the carpet and furniture is already damaged and stained. We couldn’t fully relax because we felt as if the host was going to try to pin some damage or noise on us. The house is in a great location, but we wouldn’t recommend this stay at all.
Nice renovation and was clean. Large kitchen but not fully equipped for those who like to cook. Couldn’t find any extra blankets so our 2 Colorado nights were cold. Needs new towels and sheets. Sorry to hear after the fact that the 2 sided fireplace was out of order. Entertainment was easy to access.
This was a great place to stay while visiting family in the area. There was plenty of space to accommodate 2 families. The house was very clean, had good space for hanging out, and had a great kitchen. It was also close to great restaurants and the downtown area, including a great jogging trail.
Great location, awesome property - tons of room and beds for family and kiddos. Wish the weather would have been better to take advantage of the outdoor fire pit...next time!
Home worked well for our one night stay prior to heading to Philmont the following day! It was close to food and Garden of the Gods! Location was quiet and space was ample!
