The lower level open floor plan provides a great space for family gatherings. This home features 3 large bedrooms. A front deck and generous screened porch compliment your outdoor relaxation. Enjoy fantastic views from the spacious rooftop deck with views of Pamlico Sound and the distant Ocracoke Lighthouse.

3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: 2 with Queen, 1 with Pyramid (double on bottom and twin on top) with Trundle.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 3 cable TVs and 2 DVD players. Washer and dryer.

The exterior offers a screened porch, deck, observation deck, outdoor dining table, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench.

Good place to stay on Ocracoke with pets

This cottage was exceptionally clean and was great for a week at the beach with our dog. The furniture was not the most comfortable, but you don't have to worry about getting it dirty or the dog jumping up on it. The kitchen had what we needed, and the location was convenient to the village, just a short bike ride. The beach was a short drive or a longer bike ride. We enjoyed sitting on the top deck in the late afternoon.

The Escape Hatch rental more than met our expectations. We loved the open floor plan, the enormous screened in porch, and the views from the roof top deck. Located a short bike ride from the village, we rarely used our car. Our dogs loved morning walks to Oyster Creek for a swim in the sound. Great times!
