The condo was perfect for our family. Excellent location to the mountain and to town. It is exactly as described with a well stocked kitchen, baths and laundry items. Communication with hosts was wonderful.

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
The unit itself is well maintained and nicely appointed. Unfortunately, our experience was significantly impacted by ongoing road construction directly outside the property, which was not disclosed prior to our stay.On two separate evenings between approximately 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM, construction activity was taking place extremely close to the unit. The noise level got so loud, you could even hear the construction workers talking outside the window.Access to the property is also challenging due to the road closures. Returning from town requires roughly a one-mile detour because the direct route is closed. In addition, street parking has been eliminated as a result of the construction. The garage is the only available option, and it does not accommodate a larger SUV, which creates further inconvenience.Given that this construction has reportedly been ongoing for over a year and, according to local residents, is expected to continue for many more months, it would have been helpful for this information to be clearly disclosed in advance.Prospective renters should be aware of the construction, limited parking, and access challenges when considering this unit.

Thank you for your feedback and for noting that the home itself was well maintained and nicely appointed. We’re glad to hear the property met your expectations.
At the same time, we were very disappointed to read about the late-night construction you experienced, as that is not something we had previously been made aware of and is certainly not representative of the normal experience at this home. While there has been infrastructure work occurring around Ketchum, the work immediately near this condo had only recently begun around the time of your stay.
After receiving your review, we reached out directly to both the Idaho Transportation Department and the City of Ketchum to confirm the permitted construction schedule. They both confirmed that construction is only allowed between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. We also specifically asked about the overnight work you mentioned, and the Idaho Transportation Department indicated they were not aware of any construction taking place late at night, as that would fall outside the approved working hours.
We certainly understand how frustrating unexpected noise can be during a stay, and we are very sorry that this impacted your visit. That said, we do want future guests to understand that this review reflects a temporary external situation rather than the condition or quality of the home itself, which you also kindly acknowledged in your comments.
Thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your experience.
