Check in was frustrating - we were told 4p, but our room wasn't ready until after 6p (that was with q15 min checks at the desk and a manager becoming involved). Also, the unit is part of a hotel, rather than being owned by the family listing it - more of a unit in a time share service. The unit was clean in a generic sense, but our feet were filthy from walking around barefoot on the tiled and carpeted floors inside the apartment. The 4 stars given are because Atlantis itself is a great resort to visit. There are a ton of pools, the beaches, and lots of activities. You can walk from Harborside in 10-15 minutes to the main pools or take the shuttle (a bit of a waiting game). Be aware that food is very expensive, so take advantage of the Harborside grocery shuttle Sat-Mon if you are able. We appreciated having a mini-kitchen in our unit to help off set food cost. The pool at Harborside is big and very family friendly, quiet compared to the main Atlantis pools, depending on the vibe you are looking for. Marina Village is a short walk away with lots of shopping and food options. If you are able to get a room facing the intercoastal, the views are amazing, especially at sunset.
