The Good/Great: Welcoming host. Great communication. Large home easily accommodated a 10 person Xmas dinner. Three of the large bedrooms were quiet. We didn't use the 4th (didn't need to); it would have been louder. Comfortable living areas and large dining room table. Easy drive to Seattle. It's street parking; we were always able to find a spot near the house. It's a medium-distance walk to Queen Anne Ave. shops. There's an exercise trail nearby. It's easy to come and go (digital keypad). Consider: It's an older home, which is a plus and a minus. The upstairs floors and stairs creak. The bedrooms upstairs are heated by plug-ins. Bathrooms are original. We visit Seattle often. This house is great at this price point if you have a large group and/or want something that feels a more "homey." If you are looking for "modern," this will be less of a fit. We've rated it 4 stars because the host was great and, for this trip, it met our needs very well.

Enjoy spending time with family and in the outdoors. Have been an ER nurse for 30+ years and am trying my hand at making a great host to help people enjoy their time away more.

Queen Anne is a historical area of West Seattle that has unique restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops and shopping. It is walkable to Parks, Seattle Pacific University, and quiet neighborhoods. Downtown Seattle attractions are easy to visit using public transportation or a short 8–12-minute drive depending on traffic.
