Our second time staying here with our cat. There was a heat wave but with the AC indoors and the porch on two sides, we could always find a place to stay cool. The bed was comfy (except for the pillows IMHO), the kitchen clean and well-equipped. I like the simple decor and pine floors. We enjoyed the wildlife, walking in the wildflowers and listening to the birds. One plane in 3 days, very few distant cars - SO peaceful.

We loved the seclusion and quiet of the hilly, Amish area. It was a great way to relax. The kitchen was well-supplied and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the stars and owls at night. We felt at home immediately and hope to come back!

I’m so glad I found this property. My parents were from the Kickapoo area, and after recently selling our family’s beloved land near Billings Creek, I needed a peaceful home base where I could bring my pup while visiting family. This place was beautiful, quiet, and exactly what I needed.One of my favorite parts of the stay was spending time on the porch watching the birds and taking in the peaceful surroundings. It brought back so much nostalgia and reminded me why I’ve always loved this area. The property had a warmth to it that made me feel right at home and gave me the space to relax and reflect.The hosts were wonderful—friendly, communicative, and attentive. The location was perfect for visiting family and enjoying local spots. I would happily stay here again.

Great Wisconsin Getaway

My friend and I loved staying at this property. A quiet log cabin in the woods, with incredible forest and pond views, this quiet retreat is perfectly located for me. I have family in the area and was able to have a small get together in the front yard with a few cousins. It has everything you need to enjoy a getaway from the city.
