Lakeside Dune Getaway
This charming 2 bedroom 1 bath play house is located right in the center of the beautiful town of Lakeside. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and bedroom 2 is a bunk bed with a queen on bottom and twin on top. There is a cot and pack n play in the closet, if needed. Our kid friendly home is loaded with games and puzzles while offering plenty of parking for your motor toys of choice. We strive to keep it simple and affordable while still meeting all your needs. We are now pet friendly with 8x8 kennel but no fenced in yard.

If you enjoy the outdoors, we are minutes away from the ocean, the dunes and numerous lakes. You can enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, riding, boating, a walk on the beach or a night out at the casino. Want to rent a side x side? Syer’s is across the street with awesome rentals and 10% savings. Want to rent a pontoon, jet skis or kayak? The marina is just two blocks away. Whether you want an outdoor adventure or just a place to relax and unwind, our house is perfect for you.

This was the perfect place to stay for a lake destination. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. I loved having all the games and puzzles at night. The flooring was perfect for such a sandy place. We’d definitely stay here again!!

We came for the dunes. The property is well maintained. The house was clean. If you have children they would be in heaven. Quiet part of town. We would definitely stay here again

If you’re looking for a relax and quiet stay, this is not the place. Located by the main road and ATV rental is across the street, so it gets loud all day long. AC is loud and it can get really hot when it’s off. The house is…let’s just say; with the price I paid along with all the fees, I could have rented a much nicer place. I wish I looked into it a bit more.

The house was great, my kids (7&10)loved it! Once we got our bearings and settled in we really enjoyed the house and location it was super convenient with a nice grocery store about a 2 minute walk away, and great hiking & adventures nearby (about an hour) in Coos Bay! Seemed like a lot of things are closed on Mondays and Tuesday's which is to be expected in a snall town setting like this, and especially since it was shoulder season, but it was still a great time and fun family getaway One big highlight was renting a SXS for 3 hours from Syer's Powersports and experienced ripping.around the beach & sand dunnes in a 4 seater Honda Talon (Paul and staff were great) and the shop is literally directly across the street from the house , it was sooo convenient and we were able to ride right from the house which was Awesome!!! Definitely a must do experience if your visiting Lakeside! This house and location made.for the perfect mini adventure home base!!

Why they chose this property

Lakeside is a beautiful town located in the center of it all. We love that you can ride through town allowing dune access from the house. Winchester Bay and Coos bay are 15 minutes away. We are a minute from the lake where we enjoy fishing and jet skiing. The grandkids love to come and hang out and the locals are friendly and helpful.
