Never mentions 2 flights of stairs in listing. I lost key and maintenance man took a credit card to the lock and slid it around and it opened right up, Pipe in house from replumboing job are gross with putty on them that look like feces. Bathroom sink doesn't drain well and cabinet is fallen apart. I think typo leaks. No privacy at all you are surrounded by apartments and you are beneath them and she only has sheer drapes.. Forget about getting dressed of having intimacy.
Not great, not as advertised. Dirty, run down. The main bedroom is in the living room, no door and no privacy. Wifi is very poor, turned it off. TV was not working, coffee machine broken, insufficient towels and kitchen supplies. Poor communication. Only one set of keys for 4 people. Basically if you want to pay to stay in the Upper West Side, then this is your spot.
We enjoyed our time and this property was very close to subways and Central Park! We were a family of 7 and we fit fine! The bathroom seemed a little dirty on the floor upon arrival and found a few hairs around the bathroom. Other than that it was a great spot! We would stay here again!
Overall nice having so many beds to sleep on great location in the city close to stores and a caffe in upper west side Manhattan I really liked the area , and when I asked the owner if i could check in early there was no issue! however I am disappointed that the listing didn’t put in the description that it was on the “second floor” or had very steep stairs which was “very inconvenient” for my elderly father and a person that has a big suitcase to lug it up all that stairs , first of all this was a nice place but you get what you pay for as soon as I got there I had to go across the street to find the lockbox code the host gave me wrong it was really frustrating in the poring rain when u just arrive from a flight the “WiFi and tv didn’t work without internet” so overall the communication with the host was little and I smelled smokers in the room along with “NOT CHANGING THE TP ROLL” UNACCEPTABLE I didn’t like that 1 of the ac machines wasn’t even in working use on a hot day in main room and could hardly open the windows as felt like they wouldn’t open and I stubbed my foot on the odd marble slab from the fridge to the floor I’m not saying I totally hated the place there was some nice like your own room for family and comfy beds but it could’ve been a better experience:( I personally wouldn’t recommend this I may be sounding too nit picky but I expected a little better was piles of dirt on the floor and just didn’t look as pretty and nice as the photos check below thank you

This stay represents a significantly substandard experience, deviating considerably from the property booked. Upon arrival at the scheduled check-in time, there was a complete lack of communication from the host. The property listed in the booking was confirmed on-site to be under construction and not utilized for VRBO rentals.
After proactively contacting the host, an alternate address was provided. However, the condition of this substitute accommodation was unacceptable. Despite a mandatory cleaning fee included in the booking, the property was demonstrably unclean, with evidence of unlaundered bedding and a lack of basic cleaning. While the host did provide clean linens, the responsibility of changing the bedding fell to the guest after a long journey and without prior notification of the change in venue. Furthermore, the security of the property was compromised by a poorly functioning door lock.
The significant discrepancy between the booked and provided accommodations, the absence of proactive communication regarding the change, and the unacceptable condition of the alternate property necessitate a formal complaint and a request for appropriate resolution.
