Four-season 2-story cottage in the Adirondack Park with views of lake and mountains. Deck overlooking peaceful Lake Luzerne has grill, retractable awning, dining and sitting areas. Paneled living room/dining room has great stone fireplace, nice furnishings, ceiling fan. Fully equipped eat-in kitchen. two BRs have window A/Cs. Study has 2 walls of windows overlooking lake. Many rooms have antiques. A short 50 yards to beautiful sandy beach with lifeguards. Directly opposite Lake Luzerne Music Center, which has weekly summer concerts. Central location between Saratoga Springs, The Great Sacandaga Lake and Lake George. Nearby attractions galore, including hiking, climbing, kayaking, rafting/tubing on Hudson & Sacandaga Rivers, horseback riding, golf, rodeo, Lake George attractions (Great Escape, outlet shopping, etc.). Two kayaks and a canoe available on the premises. Less than ½ hour drive to Saratoga Springs Race Course, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Polo, Saratoga Harness Track, Racino, West Mountain, Sacandaga Lake, and Lake George, and more.

The house was clean and efficient. There was only 3 of us but the house could easily handle many more. The property is beautiful and logically perfect for anyone who likes to fish and also has great places to relax and hang out on the property. The communication with the owner was instant and a pleasure. I would definitely recommend this property. When I go back next year i will look for this house first!

Lake Luzerne Gem

A delightful lake cottage in a tucked away neighborhood on Lake Luzerne. What more could a mom of teens want? Close to small shops for any basic needs. Short driving distance to Lake George, mountain bike park, and Great Escape. Plus there are kayaks and a canoe. Definitely recommend for anyone seeking a charming getaway.

The property is perfect for families. Plenty of space, cozy , clean and easy to access all the beauty of Lake Luzerne. Have been renting the property for years and it never disappoints!

We loved the location. so close to the lake, lake George shops and day trips. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were great for 8 people. Kayaks and canoe were an added bonus for the grandkids

Classic lake house

Spent a long weekend with friends - place was perfect for a large group. Great location near nearly empty public beach. Walking distance from Village of Hadley/Luzerne. Fire pit was great at night. Great communication and fully stocked kitchen. Hope to come again.

Dead Head Getaway

We stayed for the weekend and saw Dead & Co in Saratoga PAC. Quick drive on beautiful country roads. Home is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood with a deck and awning which allowed us to still enjoy the outside while raining.

Great Camp on Lake Luzerne

Kim's camp had all the amenities a family could need plus a great location steps from the beach. The weather didn't totally cooperate but the many games and puzzles provided a great diversion for the kids. Will definitely look to come back next season. Thanks Kim for a great vacation, The Monaco family.

Comfy & Convenient

This place was nice for the price. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The property is right next to the lake and offers plenty of equipment to use at the lake (boats, paddles, etc.). Ample bed linens and bath towels are also available. The house is quite cozy with a nice deck out back. Its also a convenient short ride to the center of downtown Lake George. I would definitely stay here again!

Delightful weekend at the lake

Kim’s house was perfect for our 3 families, 2 kids and spouse, 4 grandkids and the grandparents. Lots of room for everyone. Very well stocked kitchen. And steps to the town beach on the lake. We went to Glens Falls on the rainy day and it was fine. Highly recommended.

Quality Family Time @ the Lake

Great location for our grandchildren (3 toddlers) and grown kids. Beach/lake just steps from the house were appreciated. Lots of space for our family to spread out, outdoor fire pit for s’mores, deck for bbq, and we took part in other outdoor activities, music festival, miniature golf, white water river rafting, minniehaha boat ride. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware for meal prep.

We were old friends that graduated in 1985 there was a registry book to write about your stay there it was fun to read the past renters remarks. It was also nice that one of our group wrote something nice in the book we could all reflect on we had a nice time and we are looking to do it again there after we do some other Verbo locations im very happy with how the app works

Wonderful property! Beautiful setting in quiet neighborhood. Easy Check-in. Host very responsive to all questions.Comfortable rooms. Kitchen with all the necessary appliances and gadgets. Back deck was wonderful - we ate many meals at table there; used the large gas grill; retractable awning was perfect! View of adjacent swimming beach downhill and through trees. We all swam and one used a kayak (stored under deck). We definitely plan to come again!!!Main Floor -includes kitchen w table; living room/dining room combo; office with desk; 3 bedrooms (1 queen with tub/shower bathroom; 1 queen; 1double); hall bathroom w tub-shower; and door to deck). Lovely stay at Lake Luzerne.

The property was as described in the listing. A few small cleaning issues with a bed comforter and TV remote. Noisy queen mattress in the basement bedroom was not appreciated. The portable air conditioners were much appreciated. Definitely would recommend this property.

Lake Luzerne

We enjoyed our stay at this property. There were nine adults going to the Adirondack Wine and Food Festival in Lake George. The house had five bedrooms and three bathrooms, which worked out well for our group. There was a nice deck off the back of the house which overlooked the lake. Fire pit in the backyard was where we spent our evenings (you will need to buy firewood). Lake is almost in the backyard. Kayaks were included in the rental, along with life jackets. Very quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful Gathering Place

Beautiful setting on the lake. Very much appreciated the availability of the canoe, and the house itself was cozy and fun for our family, with plenty of room. Small hot water tank, but we made it work by staggering showers. Overall cleanliness was not great, and it was very musty until we opened windows to air it out. Back porch chairs and tables could not be used because they were very dirty and had pine pitch on them. We did very much enjoy our stay and the furnishings were unique and cool. I'd certainly stay again, and just bring my own outdoor chairs.

The listing was slightly deceptive - there is not much of a view of the lake due to the trees blocking the view - also any mountains were not visible - we don't think there were any from that view. The linens and sheets could use updating. The beds were horrible. One bedroom still had papers in it from the previous visitors, as well as numerous spiders. It's a summer cabin, but a good pest inspection would be recommended. The location was great to area attractions. The beach was OK, but was sometimes noisy. It wasn't a bad stay, but if a few things were improved it would have maybe been a great stay.

Dirty house and unresponsive owner

We stayed less than 24 hours at this property although we booked for a week. Although the pictures of the property were accurate the uncleanliness of the property could not be seen. The carpets were filthy and stained, 2/3 bathrooms were disgusting with moldy tiles and shower tracks. Cobwebs were seen throughout the lower level. Purple towels were stained. Mattresses were easily 20 years old as were the comforters on them. One had holes and another was stained.The host attempted to make them more comfortable with foam padding but due to the condition of the mattress underneath it was very uncomfortable. My entire family was awake all night. The property was advertised with air conditioning in bedrooms and on the lower level. There were 2 functioning split ac units in the kitchen and dining room. Another uninstalled unit was in the master closet and no ac to be found downstairs. Many texts/emails/calls with pictures from both myself and vrbo have been unanswered by the owner, Kim. Looking at the other reviews I’m unsure if they were fraudulently entered or there has been an extreme cleanup since 7/2/23.
