About this property
Family Cabin in the Hills of Strawberry Valley
Nestled in the serene hills of Strawberry, Gulf Stream Retreat invites you to experience the charm and tranquility of an authentic mountain getaway. This rustic 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin was lovingly built by the owner’s family and carries decades of cherished memories. Now, they’re excited to share this special retreat with you and your loved ones. Close to some of Utah’s most beautiful natural attractions, including Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and Cedar Breaks National Monument.
We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs.
A $150 non-refundable pet fee covers up to two dogs. They must be added at booking. Undisclosed pets—even at pet-friendly properties—may result in significant fees.
If you’re traveling with more than two dogs, please message us in advance to see if an exception can be approved for an additional deposit.
The pet fee does not cover pet-related damage, including urine, feces, or excessive mess.
Please note: only dogs are permitted. We do not allow cats or any other animals.
Welcome to Duck Creek Village at 8500 ft!
In winter, our cabins offer a serene escape, but preparation is key for a safe journey. Here`s what you need to know:
Before you set off:
1. Get real-time road conditions and weather updates with Utah`s UDot app and Wunderground`s website (zip code 84762).
2. Plan your travel wisely and avoid winter storms.
Once snow arrives:
• Highway 14 may have snow, and our gravel roads will be snowy. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required, with chains recommended.
• Snow removal is prioritized, but please keep in mind that we contract with snowplow companies who only plow after 6” or more of snow for driveways, and they will prioritize guests who check in or check out first, followed by groups who are mid stay.
• Power outages are rare, but if they occur, contact management and we will provide an update on the situation promptly.
Keep in mind:
• Nighttime arrivals may find limited services, so plan accordingly.
• While we`re a small village, we`re here to ensure your winter adventure is memorable and safe.
For a stress-free getaway, call us ahead to tailor your trip to perfection!
