Whether you’re looking for a serene, rejuvenating, tropical escape or an active fun and sun-filled outdoor adventure, you’ll find our 1 bedroom, 2 full bath ocean view condo located in beautiful Wailea to be the perfect springboard for your great Maui vacation. Ekahi 50D is in Wailea Ekahi Village, one of the few beachfront resorts in Wailea with direct access to Keawakapu Beach, one of the most gorgeous beaches on Maui. Enjoy romantic sunset beach walks, swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, and some of the best whale watching on the island!

You'll have access to 4 sparkling swimming pools, including 3 “quiet area” designated pools great for reading or sunning and the large beachfront pool and pavilion with wonderful expansive views of the ocean and islands of Lanai and Kahoolawe and direct access to the beach.

Ekahi #50D is a 2nd story unit with an airy, light, open feeling with soaring cathedral ceilings and wide views of the ocean, sunsets, and the beautiful tropical landscaping of Ekahi from virtually anywhere you stand in the living or dining rooms. The spacious 2nd story unit (1090 sq. ft.) also offers a wonderful sense of privacy and comfort due to its location and warm, tropical decor.

Enjoy our newly remodeled, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and large private lanai. And sleep peacefully on our new comfortable memory-foam king size bed. And we also have a large sectional in the living room which is super comfy to sleep on. If you remove the back pillows it's about as wide as a single bed.

The condo has a quiet, dual zone air conditioning system so there's cooling AC available throughout the unit. The master bathroom features a walk-in shower with Italian porcelain sandstone style with beautiful blue glass accent tiles, and all new fixtures including a rain shower head. The full guest bath features a tub/shower combination. Both the master bath and guest bath have top of the line granite top vanities.

The condo also comes with free, high-speed, internet with wireless access. So, you can bring your ipad or laptop and check your email or access the net, all while watching the whales, and sipping a fresh cup of Kona coffee or your favorite wine or cocktail out on the lanai.

If you’re looking for activities away from the beaches Wailea is a golfer's dream destination and there’s also a tennis club just up the hill.

And for runners and walkers, just take the 2 mile Wailea beach path that starts right in front of Ekahi Village and jog or stroll past five beautiful white sand beaches and the many five-star hotels, shopping, restaurants, and other resorts along the Wailea beach.

The Shops at Wailea are also only a few minutes away; there you'll find several great restaurants, as well as some of the best shopping on the island.

2 1/2 week stay in Wailea

The location of this condo was terrific for us. We are retired and played golf, enjoyed most water activities, ate out for dinner and/or breakfast quite a bit, explored the island, etc. Several golf courses were very close to our location as were restaurants, shops, great walking areas along the beach, etc. We ate in a lot too and the kitchen had all the amenities one would need. I would only suggest more dish towels and pot holders. The view of the ocean can be seen from the balcony chairs and out the living room window. Because many things were close to our location we were able to walk to many places which we loved. Also condo is very quiet…never heard noise from neighbors. We also liked the layout of the condo.

Excellent choice for a couple to stay

This property worked well for us. Plenty of space, had everything we needed and was clean. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, which was fine for us but might be harder on others. It was really nice and quiet and the location was good. Would definitely recommend

Lovely time in Wailea

This condo worked very well for my husband and I. It has been tastefully decorated and was well supplied in terms of kitchen equipment as well as beach towels, chairs, and umbrella. We were fine with the 10 or less minute walk to the beach from the condo, although someone with limited mobility might find it challenging. An excellent location for accessing the south side of the island.

We've been visiting Maui for 25 years and finally bought our dream place in 2009. So we're excited to share or part-time home and what we view as one of the prettiest spots on the island with our guests.

Why they chose this property

We had been looking at many different properties over the years and in fact we had narrowed it down to a few in another development but when I went to Maui to finally pick one and make an offer, 50D came on the market. When I walked in the door it just felt right. The high ceilings just make it so airy, open and relaxing not like any typical condo I've ever seen. And then I saw those stunning views of the ocean right through the picture window in the living room and then turned the other direction and saw the beautiful landscaping and West Maui Mountain views out the lanai and kitchen windows. I just couldn't imagine getting any of the other units we had been about ready to put an offer on. I'd finally found the place that made me feel truly ready to commit and make an offer.
