Cozy Studio Oceanside Hatteras Village

Come enjoy a stay in our cozy Oceanside Beach Studio, with community access (only 200 yards away) to the serene beach of Hatteras Village. Enjoy a fishing trip on one of the many charters out of Hatteras Marina, just down the road, or even some surf fishing on the beach. If fishing isn't your thing, come relax on the beautiful beach and watch the waves come and go. If you want outdoor activities try kite surfing, wind surfing or surfing in the OBX. There are also kayak tours and dolphin watching tours available nearby. Relax and enjoy the sand between your toes at e=msea2.

This elevated beach studio is about a mile from the Ocracoke Ferry in Hatteras Village. And is conveniently located near many restaurants and local shopping.

This cottage is offering up its studio apartment, for your enjoyment. The studio apartment has one queen bed and a sleeper sofa, newly renovated kitchen and updated designer bathroom. This unit sleeps 2 (or up to 4 using the sleeper sofa) and has a fully stocked kitchen, TV, DVD player, stereo, and access to a washer and dryer (on the property) as well as access to the large deck, with a hot tub and grill. We are also including wireless internet access and cable TV. Enjoy views of the Pamlico Sound from this cozy studio with your family or friends.

We try not to rent both houses when one is rented out. We strongly encourage you to get vacation insurance, during hurricane season, as road closures will be expected.

This was our third time staying here and we had another wonderful week at the beach! This is truly the perfect place for a couple. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for us. We love being walking distance from the beach! Mark is great at communicating and very generous. We will absolutely be back again!

A Cozy Cottage

This place was perfect for just the 2 of us. It is quiet and peaceful. It has a beautiful view of the sound and a short walk to the beach. It is located with in walking distance to stores.The ower was so easy to work with.

Great Hatteras spot!

Second stay here. Love the location and the studio has everything you need. The hot tub was heavenly especially on the cold nights I was there. Met the owner this trip and Mark was very friendly and welcoming as always. A mile to the ferry which I took to Ocracoke and spent the day. Plenty to do on Hatteras so much history, shopping and beautiful beaches. Love it there!

Perfect Beach House for a Couple

This was our second stay here and we had another wonderful week in Hatteras. The studio apartment is the perfect place for a couple. We had everything we needed in the apartment. The beach is just a short walk away. Unfortunately we had bad luck with the weather but we stayed nice and dry in the apartment despite some really heavy rain. We will definitely be back again next summer!

Perfect beach getaway

This was our 3rd summer at E=MSea2 and it was our best experience yet. The house is perfect for a couple and our dog loves the property as well. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the hosts are fantastic. Beach access at this house is fantastic, a 2 minute walk puts you on the most beautiful beach. We will be back next year for sure!

Easy and Relaxing ... even with 2 dogs!

Yes, we loved the beach at sunrise, beauty a minute walk away! Great wifi (2-hr Zoom meeting). Cute place with all the amenities. Mark, is welcoming and very responsive to all forms of communication—obviously a Premier Host. We like the winter ocean and will be back.

Amazing view but the trip was too short. Wish we could stay longer. on the website it says four bedroom four bathroom meaning we thought we were getting also the greenhouse not mad just a little confused. But we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic week getaway

Property manager was attentive and answered questions very quickly. The property is just a couple minutes from the beach with easy access. A really great getaway for just the two of us, Hatteras Village is a lot quieter than some of the more commercial heavy-traffic areas around it and we really enjoyed that. It's a manageable walk from the house to a small but pretty well-stocked grocery in the village. We had a great time!

Nice stay

Overall, the property met expectations. Very clean and worked well for my husband, myself, and our dog. It was a nice quiet neighborhood and very close to the beach. Just a short walk down the street and up the dune. We enjoyed the area very much. Quiet and sleepy at this time of year but that is what we were looking for. Mark is an excellent communicator and was very prompt to answer any questions. Hot tub was older but working. There was a bit of sand in it before we even used it the first time. Wish there was more dish, hand soap and paper towels. We would have brought that if we needed to but didn't know that. I would recommend bringing those for yourself as well as some type of plastic wrap or Reynolds wrap for leftovers. All in all, good stay. Thanks Mark!

Bad Property

Home was small, but we expected that. However, it seemed to still be under construction in many areas, and the interior was filthy. We had no hot water, and it was infested with cockroaches. When brought to property manager's attention, he said the roaches were "Palmetto Bugs" (another name for the North Carolina Cockroach, per quick internet research) and denied there was a problem with the hot water. The plus side: It's a beautiful neighborhood amongst a collection of nice looking shops and close access to the beach. We paid for a week, we left after a single night. Neither the Host nor VRBO had any interest in any sort of refund.

Hatteras delight!

This cozy studio getaway was just what we needed for a Family of 3 & our golden retriever! The kitchen had all the supplies you needed, the bathroom was huge & spacious & the bed was comfy per my Family. We never pulled out the sleeper sofa, I just slept on the sofa & had no issues. We used the mini grill we brought since I have Celiac- it was just safer for me-but there is a grill on site. We used the washer & dryer-a super nice option to have. The beach at the end of the court was such a treat in the evening- you will get beautiful pictures! The local grocery store has all you will need & they are super friendly with ALOT of good options. Ramp 49 (Billy Mitchell) is a short drive away & it is our favorite every summer to get on at. We stopped in at Hatteras Snowballs & Chilly Hank’s for a sweet treat-highly recommend! Take a day trip to Ocracoke- but get in line early for the ferry- super busy! We met the owner of the property Mark- such a gracious host! Thank you for everything! We will be back!

one bed studio walking distance to beach

We stayed in the little yellow house behind the main green one. It is a one bedroom studio, meaning the queen sized bed is in the same room as the living room and kitchen. It was perfect size for us as a couple and our labradoodle. The little living room had a couch and two chairs in the kitchen had a little dinette with four chairs. Downstairs at the entrance from the driveway is a nice outdoor shower as well as hose to use for the dog and us after a day at the beach. The property is located just a block from a private entrance to the beach and if you sneak along the backyard, you can also cut out to the main road across the street to Happy Belly for ice cream. The property was clean and we really like that they do not provide linens because that just makes it overall a much cleaner experience for us to bring our own towels and bedding. Please note that the property does not have paper towels, hand towels, or trash bags. You will need to bring those. The owners food recommendations are absolutely spot on and matched our taste perfectly. We loved it and we are already talking about going back again.

Hatteras Hideaway!

The listing for this property is pretty misleading. It lists a one bedroom and it it’s not a bedroom. The whole apt is one big room so really it’s a bed in the back side of the livingroom. Ocean was a little more then 200 yards which was not a problem but the road leading to it was underwater our whole stay so watch the weather . If it rains or has rained a lot the area floods easily. Also there was a lot of construction debri, an old hot tub and other junk in the area where you park. Unit advertised a washer and dryer. That is also under the house where you park. Rusted and broken and not hooked up! TV remote had dead batteries which lead to several hours of trying to figure out why the tv wouldn’t work!! However , with that being said… The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach was close. The owner can’t control the weather! Also owner was very easy to communicate with,and check in was pretty simple .( since the door was left unlocked) since the door was unlocked!)

All in one!

Great place. Larger than pictures show. Mark was very responsive and quickly responded to all my many questions before our trip and when we got there. Very clean and well kept. Bathroom fan could use a cleaning to make it more effective but overall very clean place. Gorgeous modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. Great view of the sound and short walk to beach which was wonderful. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need including some condiments in the fridge and pepper & garlic salt in the cupboard. We didn’t find the remotes to operate the DVD player until the morning we left unfortunately but it worked. Bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. Hot tub was hot albeit a bit sandy. Wish it had an awning or coverage over it to protect us from wind because we only got to use it once (in cold, blustery March weather). House is a mile from great shopping at the ferry and close to restaurants museums and other shopping. It was our first stay on Hatteras Island and we got there a day after a really bad March storm had come through. There was a lot of flooding, the ferries were shut down, restaurants were closed and some things hadn’t reopened for the season yet. But the beaches were pristine as we had always heard and people were friendly and there were so many things to do on the island we enjoyed it very much. We loved the studio apartment and would definitely stay here again! We loved Hatteras and hope to get back there soon. Thanks Mark!
