Step out the front door into a winter wonderland. Anyone looking to get out of the city for a bit or just get away? This house has been in my family for many many years and is now available for nightly, weekly and monthly rent! It is in the beautiful town of Silverton, Colorado. If you are an extreme skier/snowboarder, Silverton Mountain is your next stop! If you are a hiker, enjoy the mountains surrounding this cozy little town! Really there is something for everyone here!

This Bi-Level home has everything you need! It is a perfect place to bring the family or friends for great times and memories. First Floor has 1 bedroom, Full Bath with an Old fashion Claw-foot Bathtub, Full Kitchen, Dining and Living area. Upstairs has 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms and views of Mountains from every room.
The yard is big, beautiful green grass and fenced in for your privacy, kids, pets.There is a picnic table chairs and a grill for outdoor BBQ's. Horseshoe pits and a full Driveway for your Outdoor Toys!!!

Powder House Views

Our family attended a wedding in Silverton. The Powder House was a perfect place to stay. It's a very charming house. We had plenty of room for the family and kids. The large fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. The location is great. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. We watched the Durango Silverton train arrive down the street. The views from the house are amazing!

House was as listed. Plenty of room for our family. Loved the history of the house and town. We visit Silverton 2-3 times a year and would not hesitate to stay here again. The living room was very comfortable with plenty of seating. It was great to sit and watch the beautiful snow!

Very well set up with plenty of room and beds. Very cute house and yard. We were in town for daughters wedding, and it was perfect for us and those staying with us. Property owners super easy to communicate with and were so accommodating.

Not sure if they’ve changed the posting yet or not but you can no longer drive your side x sides in Silverton. That makes staying in Silverton a little less convenient if trail riding is your reason for visiting. However, that in no way made the stay in the house less enjoyable. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for 10 people. Had a great time!

Really Loved it

Really really Loved and enjoy our stay . But could use a DVD or something in master bedroom couldn't watch TV and the spa tub in the master bedroom didn't work also when given the address they need to say Blair St not Empire St . Empire St does not show up on the GPS Blair St show up . Thank U ! Other then that Really Really Loved my time there wish I could've stayed a little longer there .

Why they chose this property

As you are probably aware, Silverton Colorado is a very special place. The mountain views, clean crisp air and peacefulness is something that no other place can offer. My family has been a part of Silverton for many generations. This house has been in my family for many generations also, I grew up here, I watched my kids grow up here and I have been lucky enough to see my grandkids enjoy it! We hope that you enjoy our home and the beautiful surroundings as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

The views from all windows in all the rooms are spectacular mountain views. The house has all natural hardwood floors, a fire place, a huge yard and lots of parking. Everything you have at home is here for you. The house is also located on the OHV route!
