I enjoyed that the owner (Une Homes) was responsive leading up to our stay, and helped us figure out how to check in promptly on day of the stay. This home is on the far side of the Champions Gate community, which did make the commute to Disney World parks about 30-35 minutes. The townhome itself was decent. Definitely well used, but had modern touches to it and was kept (mostly) clean. Our biggest disappointment was the ant problem the property owner knew about and claimed was rectified, but we had ants crawling over everything in the kitchen from check-in to check-out. The property manager was responsive to our questions, including about the ants, but I sent numerous requests for an update about the ant problem and was always met with “let me check with the local team, and I’ll get back to you.”The small private pool was nice, but definitely recommend paying for the heat. Even with the temps in the mid-80’s during the day, the pool was always quite cold. I recommend the waterpark closest to the house if you family that enjoys slides, the water is warmer here too.The pool cleaner arrived unannounced on one of our non-park days. Though I understand the need for regular cleaning, it would have been nice to have a heads up. Same with the house cleaner on check-out day. Of course I value the importance of a clean home at check-in. But if check-out is at 10am, we shouldn’t be getting rushed by the cleaners a few minutes after 9am while we’re in the midst of packing up.
