Jill was a great host and answered my many questions as well as gave me ideas of things to see in the area. This was the best rental property I've stayed at. The craftsman with the original interior intact was amazing, particularly if you're interested in historical houses. The house was decorated beautifully with a well-equipped kitchen. The price was very reasonable. Be sure to check the damage deposit amount. It's commenserate with the quality of the house but make sure it fits within your budget.
House was very well stocked down to the bobby pins that kept my hat in place! Very clean! I wouldn’t have known it was pet friendly except for the welcoming pet bed! Next time I may bring my dog! Stay here! Great value! Great communication!
Overall experience with owner was great! Very responsive to any questions. Not having a fire pit was a bummer, but totally understand! Would stay again!
I would definitely recommend staying at this adorable house. It’s very clean and the host was amazing. She responds very quickly with any questions. It was decorated very cute for Christmas and close to downtown which had adorable shops. Would definitely stay again
The house was full of character with hardwood floors, beautiful woodwork throughout the house, and a large front porch. It was a very spacious, comfortable, & warm house. The backyard is filled with fun things to explore & entertain young children.

Thank you for the kind words, treating our home like your own and feeding my fish! Blessings :-)
My husband, dog and I loved our stay at this spacious home with lots of historic charm. It was a great layout, very roomy and well decorated with a fully stocked kitchen and the perfect bedroom - very comfortable bed and quiet (I am a light sleeper, so this was important to me). It's situated on a very nice, quiet street which was perfect for walking our dog. We were to downtown Louisville in minutes. The communication with our host was great. We did not see an office with a bed, but the place is very inviting and even better in person. Super nice front porch as well, which we would have spent much time on had the weather cooperated. Highly recommend this place!!

Thank you! I honestly couldn’t even tell you had a dog there or you were there it was so clean. The office is upstairs and if you ever come back and need the additional space please let me know. Again thank you for treating our home like it was yours!
Lovely property in a pleasant neighborhood. Check-in and -out was easy. The furnishings were comfortable and well taken care of. The front porch was very inviting. I enjoyed sitting in the rocking chair in the evening. The backyard is fun, sporting a swingset, playhouse and play equipment for kids. There’s also a koi pond with small koi fish. It was fun to sit out there and watch the fish. A gregarious, friendly orange tabby cat, who is a stray, visited the last night I was there. He enjoyed the cat food I fed him that Jill, the owner, had for him should I want to feed him. The bathroom had all the usual functions including a bidet. Cushy, soft bath towels were lovely. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows of various firmnesses to choose from. The bedroom also had a ceiling fan - a bonus for those who like to sleep cooler. The kitchen sports a generously sized fridge, pots, pants, utensils and whatnot. I was able to cook breakfast everyday. It is an older kitchen and it’s clean. There is a dining room with a table that seats at least 6. The neighborhood was quiet. A few blocks away, there’s a pharmacy. In the other direction, a pizza plac, a used bookstore / coffee shop, and a local ice cream shop (the ice cream is quite good). Getting to the freeway was quick & easy, too.I’d gladly stay here again.
Staying here was halfway to our final destination, so our family stayed done night initially and then a second night 10 days later. This is a very clean house and stocked well with toiletries. For us, little things were important since we were exhausted from driving all day- the shower was nice and hot, the master bed comfortable, the dining room and living room very spacious. We had 4 adult-sized people and a pet with us. Perhaps I read the description wrong, but I thought that my sons could sleep in the attic bedroom. They are big guys and unfortunately the ceiling is very low, which made going up and down the stairs a bit difficult. I would say that the attic would be perfect for small children, but just not for adults. The other issue that caused stress for my husband was that we had to unload in a shared driveway and move it quickly. We had an attached luggage rack on the back of our SUV and had to unload it after driving 10 hours. That said, on the second night we stayed here we parked our vehicle in the back and it worked out ok. So to wrap up- very nice neighborhood, it feels safe. The coffee maker is not fancy but makes really good coffee! This is a comfortable house and is a good fit for a couple. Easy access for us off the interstate. Good communication with the host.
Had such a peaceful stay at the Blissful Bungalow. The home was quiet, dark (in a good way - best sleep I've had in ages!), and stocked with every little thing you could need. The best part was the host, who was just so kind and sweet and helpful. Also, there is a very cute neighborhood kitty who hangs out on the porch, which was icing on the cake!
