What a wonderful property! Everything is so unique and you can instantly tell the time and love that was put into creating this space. The house was spotless, has everything you need for a vacation and plenty of extras for fun and relaxation. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here and look forward to returning.

It's in the details... so much character!

We choose to stay here because it seemed just from the pictures, that it had character and would provide a more unique stay for us. It was in the perfect location for our trip. We loved it! The décor and bedding were top notch. We had everything we needed, plus there were so many extras for our little boston terrier. We spent a lot of time checking all around the area – taking a boat tour of Lake Wallenpaupack, and short hikes to Shohola Falls and Raymondskill Falls, and our pup loved the Shuman Hill Hiking Trail (this one was pet-friendly.) Two highlights were our amazing Italian dinner at The Ridge in Hawley, and the Jam Bar Brewing Company in Greentown (great beer, food, and music acts). Although it looked lovely, we just ran out of time to enjoy the fire pit at the chalet. I can’t say enough about Haifa, the host. Her attention to details in every space elevated the experience. She was incredibly responsive and helpful from the moment we booked our stay.

First off, the rental process and check-in couldn’t have been easier and owner was available by message from inquiry to check-out. Wonderful experience with Haifa. The entire home is thoughtfully stocked with useful and beautiful items to make you feel like you’re on vacation somewhere special. Everything was meticulously labeled so you knew exactly where to put things back. This rental was a perfect size for our 4 person group. Twin bedroom on first floor worked for our needs. The full bathroom on the first floor had a nice layout not at all cramped. The toilet room in a bedroom upstairs was a bonus. Kitchen is good for 1 person at a time which is how I prefer to cook. I would bring my larger skillet next time since I like to cook for 2 days and have a leftover day. Deck was very comfortable! Every rental we’ve in past had awful chairs but these were so comfortable we sat out longer. There was enough space for all of us to retreat to individually and spaces for us to group for meals and family time. Sofa was a little low for my senior guest but ok for the rest. Fireplace and A/C units worked perfectly and were great to keep us cozy and comfortable the entire stay. It’s PA so even summer days have cool mornings and nights. The washer and dryer are in basement. Steps from front/parking to deck are steep. Property/greenery can use some TLC but I’m sure Haifa will make it beautiful.
