About this property
🏔 Blue Ox Basecamp Cabin: WiFi, Hot tub, Fireplace by Mt Rainier National Park
Escape to this romantic cabin less than 5 miles from the only year-round entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. Enjoy wifi, and a hot tub under the starlit sky. There is no gas fireplace, but a real wood burning stove. Seasoned, chopped wood is supplied for you, our guests.
This open loft cabin is a perfect place for a romantic getaway. You won't have a long list of checkout chores. We only ask that you load and start the dishwasher, and lock the door on the way out.
Blue Ox Basecamp Cabin features:
-Hot tub
-Full kitchen with all the essentials: a microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, stove, oven, cooking utensils, and coffee maker
-Chopped firewood
-Queen bed in an open loft upstairs
-Bathroom with shower downstairs
-A rustic wood-burning stove fireplace
-Front and back decks
-50'' HDTV with cable TV and movies for relaxing after the great outdoors
-Outdoor fire pit
-WiFi, vital for staying connected due to mountain cell reception
-Gas BBQ
-Picnic table in wooded backyard
Interactions with guests:
You will have the cabin to yourself. Your host is local, and can address any issues that may arise during your stay.
Other details to note:
Please be aware of Mt Rainier National Park's Summer 2025 timed entry system.
We add an extra filter to the mountain water, but the water in the area is rich with minerals to the extent that it can appear tinted at times.
This cabin is in housing community. Like most of the cabins in the Mt. Rainier area, it has neighbors, including RVs.
While VRBO may not include infants as part of the two-person occupancy limit, local regulations do. This cabin's occupancy limit is two guests, regardless of age. We regret that the cabin is not suitable for children or pets.
