We stayed here to ride our SXS at Indian Mountain. There was plenty of parking for our vehicles and trailers. The drive to Indian Mountain was a quick 20 minutes away. The house itself was very open and spacious. The kitchen had every appliance to cook all our meals. Highly recommend staying here if you have a bigger group/family.
House is in need of a deep clean. We wiped down the pollen from outside tables and cleaned the outside grill and fireplace upon arrival. The host said we left junk all in the yard lol it was a wiffleball bat and about eight wiffle balls. She also claimed we left dirt dishes in the sink, it was the broken crock pot. You are being watched by cameras. We had friends show up with their Frenchie, under a two hour visit and she knew how many times the dog entered the house. Creek was great on Friday but insane on the weekend. This is definitely not a place for children from the language you hear and the music they play while floating. It got wild. Beer cans on every sandbar on the creek, sad.

Yes there was pollen outside, welcome to spring, absolutely nothing was said upon arrival that anything needed a “deep cleaning”. The house was clean upon arrival, but we had to take an extra $100 from damage deposit bc cleaner had to do a lot of extra cleaning, was there all day. More than just the crock pot, more pots and dishes were left in sink and on the counter, trash was not taken out, kids hand prints on the windows behind the sink(I guess a kid was on the counter playing), toys left in tub, blankets all over living room, blood on sheets and pillow cases, balls and stuff left in yard, etc. Drove on grass in yard, with other broken rules . No check out rules were followed. As for the kayakers, there are a lot people having a blast floating down the creek, we can’t control their music they listen too. The only reason the patio camera was checked, was bc of how big of a mess was left, and my cleaner asked if there was a dog. So when we confirmed a dog was there we just asked for pet fee so we can pay the cleaner extra for all the extra cleaning she had to do. This was the first time we ever had to request from the security deposit, place was a huge mess.
Great place to stay ,just a few feet from the creek. Float the creek, stop at the house for lunch and then finish the other half of the float. Its pretty quiet in the morning and evenings. No at&t signal, Great if you don't want anyone bothering you while enjoying the place.
Probably the nicest place that I have ever rented! We were biking the Chief Ladiga trail, and loved the house! It looks like an amazing place to stay in the summer with the water behind the house. Everything from kayaking, fishing, and tubing right behind this house! We will certainly be back. Thanks for everything!Chris
