About this property
Beachfront Tiny Home on the La Fortuna Surf Break - The Baja Station
TINY HOUSE TWO
A private tiny house with ocean and wave view from your bed, ideal for guests who want to be as close as possible to the surf, simple comfort, nature, and a calm atmosphere.
Located directly on the beach of La Fortuna, the Tiny House offers a peaceful place to wake up with the sound of the sea (and be the first in the line-up). Best suited for couples or solo travelers looking to unplug and slow down.
About the Tiny House
The tiny home comfortably sleeps two guests in a queen bed in the loft. Built in traditional Mexican style with a palapa roof and large hatch windows, the space stays naturally cool and breezy throughout the day.
You’ll have a fully equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, stove, oven, sink, and utensils), a dedicated workspace with ocean views, and access to fast, reliable Starlink WiFi, ideal for remote work. There’s also ample storage and wardrobe space. You’ll have your own private space while sharing the sanitary facilities with only a few other guests. They’re well maintained and rarely busy.
This stay is perfect for travelers who enjoy a social, laid-back atmosphere and don’t mind sharing energy with others. It’s not the best fit if you’re looking for complete seclusion or total silence. Please note that on Sundays, the space often hosts cultural events such as live music, jam sessions, yoga classes, workshops, talks, and film screenings.
Good to know
- The tiny home is located close to the cafe/lounge of the Baja Station. During the daytime, the café is open to the public for breakfast, coffee and smoothies from 8 am to 6 pm.
- Off-grid & remote location (about 30 minutes from town)
- Shared bathrooms & showers
- Calm and social atmosphere, every Sunday we have a live music Jam which ends at 10 pm.
- Best suited for guests who enjoy nature and community
Come slow down and enjoy nature.
Other things: We run entirely on solar power and rely on water deliveries, so we encourage guests to be mindful of energy and water use. While we have backup systems like generators and always aim to keep things running smoothly, life off the grid can have its quirks, especially on cloudy days. If you’re a digital nomad or need guaranteed connectivity for a critical call, just give us a heads-up so we can ensure you’re covered. We’re here to help make your stay as seamless as possible!
