Although the property claims to be pet friendly, it is not. If one is staying at the hotel portion of the Queen Mary, there are limited food options, as they do not allow pets inside the restaurants. Secondly, they don't have anywhere that the pets can potty. One must exit the property walk across the large parking lot to find any natural ground. There is not one anywhere close. Secondly, they should warn guests of events prior to arrival. There were three simultaneous weddings with Extremely Loud Music and what sounded like fireworks until after midnight. This was very disruptive and frustrating as many guests were trying to sleep. There were not many alternative eating locations very close by. Although, some of the mileage distances only show two to three miles, it takes 20 minutes plus to get there.There were some nice things, like the embarkation tour which was free and very informative. The haunted tour was also very fascinating and both the tour guides were great. It was nice to get to know much of the history of the ship and the guests.
