Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
This property was not very accommodating for the price and listing. Shortly before I arrived, I was notified the refrigerator was broken, and a mini-refrigerator provided. The only ice was from bags of ice purchased throughout the week and kept in a cooler, and multiple trips to a grocery store were made due to lack of refrigerator space for perishable food. There was a person who came by every day to feed an outdoor cat, the lawn care was done while I was there, the host brought ice and a mini-vacuum one day (there was no broom or vacuum to use for daily sweeps). I was given the opportunity for the host to come and install a portable air conditioner upstairs, which should have been already done before we arrived. The main microwave was broken, but a much smaller one provided. The dishwasher had several broken pieces that required extra care when loading it. The pool was nice, and that was a great amenity. All in all, I felt like I was housesitting rather than vacationing. A partial refund would be appropriate, but I doubt this will happen. This was my first negative experience with a VRBO, so I will try other properties next time.

I am so sorry you happened to arrive after the main refrigerator freezer was accidentally left open and broke. We tried to accomodate with a temporary frig until the main one was repaired or replaced and provide ice. The caretaking of the lawn occurs whether someone is there or not. Notice was provided as information to consider; not for caretaking as you indicated and someone does feed a rescue cat daily without disturbances. The extra portable AC was to be installed in case the high temps of 90 to 100 impacted the temperature upstairs for those who like it cooler at night like the downstairs. We do not leave portable ACs in windows, its a boost to the main units. Your input during your stay neither reflected any concerns you stated above, you said the temp was fine. Nor did you gain permission to have a second adult with a second vehicle stay on the property so no refund is considered. Please consider sharing concerns directly to hosts and being honest about who is included as staying on the property.
The house was clean, very well stocked, and much bigger than anticipated. The pool area is an amazing feature--great landscaping, lots of places to relax, and a larger-than-expected pool with a diving board. The host was responsive and helped answer all questions. Highly recommend!
This house was perfect for our stay - the pool was amazing in the 100 degree heat! The town was also super cute. A few small hiccups occurred, mostly due to the extreme heat, but the owners went above and beyond to right those immediately. Highly recommend this house to anyone!
