Part of the Village Collection at Lakeside Getaways, The Lakehouse is a century-old home on Lac McGregor within Le Domaine Baie Martin. Village Collection properties can be rented individually or together, making them ideal for family gatherings or group getaways.
The Lakehouse has three upstairs bedrooms and can accommodate up to six guests. It combines the charm of historic architecture with the comfort of modern amenities. The main floor includes a totally modern kitchen including dining area, two-piece bathroom, and spacious living room with gas fireplace. Upstairs, three bedrooms and a full bathroom provide a restful retreat. The master bedroom has a lake-facing balcony with a simply magnificent view. Just imagine sipping your morning coffee while seated on the balcony. Ads you soak up the morning sun, please don’t OD on the panoramic view of beautiful Lac McGregor!
Lower down, a wrap-around veranda offers sweeping views of the lake from the comfortable screened-in porch. A private fire pit invites evening gatherings.
Guests also enjoy shared access to Le Domaine’s Boathouse Lounge, lakeside sauna, multiple docks, watercraft, and a children’s play area. Perfect Getaway

The cottage was very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The lake was fantastic. We had access to a canoe, kayaks and SUP boards. Camp fire at night. I wish we had booked a longer trip. We will definitely be back.

The lake is very beautiful as is the view from the back porch and the upstairs primary bedroom. The BBQ worked well. A big disappointment was that the dishwasher is broken. The upstairs shower also needs work, but the toilets worked well. Overall, it seemed as though very little had been updated since COVID, including the "guide" to the cottage. The beauty of the lake made up for most of the flaws. Perhaps the cottage has been booked all summer so that the property manager couldn't check to see what needs updating or fixing. This is sometimes a downside to renting at the end of the summer.

Domaine Baie Martin is a unique location with four individual private cottages. Each cottage is a private enclave for just its Guests. The Domaine Baie Martin grounds provide an impressive list of additional amenities. There is the wonderful Boathouse Lounge built out high over the waters of Lac McGregor with its balcony over the waters of the lake. There is the unique Lakeside Sauna with it rear window wall which delights with a captivating view out over the waters of the lake. There are the large, comfortable seating areas by the lake both on the docks and on the large deck area above. There is the playground area for the kids. And available to you as well is the handy laundry area should you need to take care of some of your clothing. All of this is in addition to what is provided just for your private use at each of the cottages!
