Great Location

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay and loved the convenient location. Shops, restaurant ya, the park and small beach were within walking distance.

The hotel was historic and attractive. The weather didn't cooperate very well, but we did enjoy sitting on the porch when the sun peaked out. Our room was attractive and the bed was comfortable but if you have any mobility issues, be aware that you have to use a step stool to get in and out of bed. That wasn't a problem for us, but would have been for some relatives we know. Being from out of state, we didn't realize how much hurricane damage Cedar Key had endured over the last couple of years. They are still rebuilding, so damage is evident and quite a few businesses were still closed. We'll give the town a little more time before we go back. Next time, we will eat in the hotel restaurant which looks to be the most elegant of options available. If you're going to Cedar Key, we would recommend this hotel as a place to stay.
