Plenty of charm for this 2 bedrooms key west style house built in 1935 and located in quiet La Hacienda Historic District of delray beach.

You Will enjoy so much living in delray, many good restaurants, wonderful beach and great ambiance.
Also, you will love having a glass of wine at night by the pool.
Everything is ready for cooking either inside or outside with a weber gas bbq

The place is One block of intracoastal, surrounded by the very chic estuary area.
The palm trail pedestrian path starts just by the house and brings you To Beach, Intracoastal, Downtown Atlantic Avenue

Delray Getaway

If you are looking for a quiet old school cottage with a private pool this is the place for you. Nice to get away from the crowds on Atlantic Avenue.

Love this place!!

This property was perfectly located in Delray Beach. Walking distance to beach , close to downtown , private. The house itself was adorable and the swimming pool was lovely. The host was very communicative and helpful. I plan on staying here again! Must stay.

A Hidden Gem

This is the cutest little place! Nestled in a wonderful neighborhood with walking paths and beautiful scenery all around. The backyard with pool and eating/seating areas is the perfect place to relax. Everything was clean and accommodating. Communication and check in/out was seamless and the photos online are exactly what it’s like in person. The house is located just 10 minutes from the Avenue and beach front areas where all the shops and restaurants are. This is truly a perfect little spot and we have already started planning for our stay next year!

Cosy Cottage near the ocean.

After landing at Fort Lauderdale airport, the trip to the house was surprising short, only 1/2 hour. The cottage is at the end of a small cul de sac with a park located behind the property. What a wonderful welcome for our getaway in Florida. So calm and tranquil, the house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. We walked up to the side gate and entered the garden, a walled very private area with a gorgeous pool!! Under the awning was a huge dining table with chairs, a perfect setting for our outdoor meals. The landscaping is tasteful and elegant, nothing overdone here. Upon entering the house we saw a lovely kitchen with colorful Mexican style tiles, which flowed into the living room. The bedrooms were situated on either side of the living room and front foyer, which was nice for privacy (preferable to bedrooms being right next to each other). The bathroom was on the other side of the living room altogether. Again nice for it to not be right next to the bedrooms...it's a great place for one or two couples!!! The rooms are good sized with very comfortable beds, and very clean. We couldn't wait and immediately stripped off our travel clothes and jumped in the pool! It is surprisingly big for the size of the yard, (you can really swim in it) and we lounged away our work-a-day cares, and eased our travel stressed bodies. It was so wonderful to sit outside, having a drink, enjoying the warmth and listening to the night sounds. The next day we got up and after a lovely breakfast under the awning, looking at the clear blue Florida skies, walked right to the Atlantic Ocean. It was a pleasant walk through quiet neighborhoods, it took about 20 minutes. The beach in Delray is wonderful, no huge skyscaper condos overlooking the ocean, instead you have private homes on the opposite side of the road and sea grapes covering the dunes, giving the beach a real far away feeling, you don't see the road and really feel like you're in nature. There is a great 'downtown' in Delray Beach, with restaurants and cafes and real street life happening. It was a joy, after a day at the beach and lounging by the pool, to be able to walk the avenue and see and be seen. I will definitely be back to this great place again. Highly recommended!!!

At the end of the lane

This sweet house is at the very end of the street. It doesn’t feel crowded by other properties. It is close to everything.

Delray Treasure

This 'Key-West' style cottage is located in a quiet, secluded street in a conveniently located residential area of Delray. Just a short ride to Atlantic Avenue, walking or biking distance to the beach and just next to the intercostal, the location was perfect for us. We liked the look of the property on the VRBO website but were concerned about the size advertised (800 sq ft) but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The cottage is surprisingly spacious and, for one or two couples, or a small family, is delightful. The rooms flow nicely, well decorated and perfectly functional. The outdoor space is perfect; casually elegant, you will enjoy an 'al fresca' live-style; with all you meals enjoyed on a charming farm table situated under a canopy next to a wonderful heated swimming pool. The owner's representative and property manager is welcoming and incredibly accommodating. She couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant and thoroughly enjoyable. We love Deray and really like this sweet cottage; one of Delray's pleasant surprises.

An ideal cottage in Delray Beach

The cottage and Delray Beach met our needs exactly. Just the right size with wonderful amenities; cul-de-sac location, heated pool, fenced in yard, beautiful outdoor dining setting. Town is great with; 2 mile long accessible beach and exciting "dog friendly" downtown. Property manager, cleaning person and pool man are all friendly and readily available

A FABULOUS time spent in Delray!

My family and I had a wonderful time in Delray Beach, in great part due to such a terrific house! Small and welcoming, it was the perfect size for a couple with two kids. The location is perfect: at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, with a lovely backyard pool---we couldn't have asked for more! Kids and parents could play freely enjoying both the sunshine in the pool as well as adequate backyard shade. Delray is great fun for the whole family. We feel lucky to have found such a great house to live in while we were there!

Wonderful vacations for a first trip in Florida!

Sweet home with all equipments required for vacations staying! Also wonderful swimming pool. Delray Beach is a very nice to stay in Florida : lot of restaurants in downtown. It was our first trip in the US and in Florida : really appreciated! Contact with owner & locally representative in Delray : great pleasure to deal with them, so available & helpful for us the Frenchies! Will recommand this cottage for lovely vacations!!

The location was great and the house was ok overall but it needs to be better maintained. - a dining table is mandatory (never seen a house without one) but this house had none. We had to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner outside for 10 days and since the weather was so cold, meal time was not so pleasant - heating system in the house was down so the house was very chilly at night and there were no big blankets to compensate. The kids and us slept with hoodies and socks on. - the pool was supposed to be heated but it never felt that way - front door was broken and could not be locked We still manage to have a nice stay because we knew and love the area.

Hi Anne thanks for reviewing. I'm sorry that you couldn't enjoy your stay as much as you hoped. We wish you had called vee ,our very helpful property manager you met at check-in time , to show you how to turn up the brand new pool heater (up to 95°) and how to switch on central heating. Whatever our guests need we try to provide it in the same day. My place was rented from december through february and no one complained about the pool or heater therefore it are colder months. Guests from february,who left the same day you arrived just renewed rental for a longer stay in 2014 and had..none of your issues during their stay. The property is professionally maintained and serviced for pool and garden once a week. Some of our dear tenants suggested to have a smaller dining room in the place to be added to the huge dining table under the patio. we will set up this project very soon. I will mention that you didn't reserve through VRBO but through an european vacation rental website which one overcharged you $300 fee for this short stay. I initially refused twice your booking requests as i guessed my home or any vacation rental wouldn't match with your needs until i allowed you this rental, when the commercial team from this rental agency called to press me up and convince me you were so ...motivated to get this rental. A Cozy Cottage

This a small but well designed cottage, so it is a good space for two couples, a couple with children. We were just the two of us, and it was perfect. The rooms are pleasant, the beds super comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped and nice to work in. The outside grill is excellent. The outdoor table and furniture is ideal and the yard has been designed excellently with the pool right there to keep you cool. The house is not far from the beach (we could walk there), but you would normally drive if you had coolers etc. The house is at the base of a horseshoe street and is very quiet and peaceful and is surrounded by beautiful vegetation. If you cook like we do, we would recommend going an extra five minutes to shop on South Military Trail, in this order: Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. (best bagels), Grandma's Bakery (Key Lime Pie to die for), then Boys Market (fresh produce, fish and meat, plus hot food). Boys can be crazy busy, but excellent quality and lower prices. If you like to go out we saw lots of people having a good time in the restaurants, and we did visit the Blue Anchor, a real English pub transported to Delray Beach from the United Kingdom. A very pleasant experience, and a very helpful owner's representative.
