The newness of the property was obvious. Plenty of room for us and could have fit more people with the number of bunk beds. The lakeshore was shallow and sandy and everyone enjoyed playing in the lake. The Golden Tee video game and foosball table was a hit with the kids!

This was an amazing property! Everything in the cabin is top notch. We had a couple of hiccups and the management team responded immediately. My only complaint/suggestion is that towels be provided and that maybe there would have been more of a selection of spices/oil for cooking. Definitely would book again.

This is a very nice property on a beautiful lake. We did contact the owner in advance with a question and we never received a response. On our 1st day there, we requested a maintenance person to repair the ice maker/water dispenser in the refrigerator. They received our request but no one ever responded. My guess is that they never hooked up a water line to the refrigerator in the kitchen. There is a shared dumpster on the neighbor's driveway that we were not told about. Unfortunately, if the wind is blowing from the wrong direction, it makes sitting out on the deck or screened in porch almost impossible. I believe someone put fish guts in the dumpster and the smell was horrendous. There are a lot of steep steps to get down to the dock. There is no room to put kayaks or pull toys on shore unless you drag them up the steps every time. There is electricity at the dock, even though we were told that there wasn't. Overall, this is a great house and it was very clean. It was well stocked with everything that we needed. For a house this size, an extra refrigerator would be a great addition. The kids enjoyed the lower level family room. The fishing was not very good, but it was kind of a stormy week. There is no place to clean fish which is inconvenient. The check-in book recommends that guests clean their fish on the tailgate of a truck! This is an annual trip that we do every year, and I would say that this property is charging a lot of money compared to others

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the home, found it clean and well stocked, and that the lower level was a hit with the kids. We're sorry we missed the opportunity to respond to your questions before and during your stay. That's not the level of service we strive to provide, and we'll be looking into what happened with those communications. Regarding the dumpster, we apologize for the odor during your stay. Due to flooding in the area, the garbage company missed a scheduled pickup, which unfortunately allowed odors to build up. We also ask guests to place fish remains in the freezer until garbage day rather than disposing of them in the dumpster during the week, but we can't always control whether everyone follows those instructions. We appreciate your feedback regarding the refrigerator, the idea of an additional refrigerator, and the fish cleaning station. We'll also verify the information about power at the dock and update our guest information if needed. The stairs to the lake and the shoreline are shown in our listing photos, but we understand they may not be the best fit for every group, especially those bringing multiple kayaks or water toys. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback. We appreciate you choosing Manage Cabins and hope you'll consider staying with us again on a future fishing trip.
