Hi Chabely, our instructions shown in our listing state that all breakers must be switched to the on position. There is an additional instructional manual also displayed in the kitchen areas for renters’ knowledge. As you know, we are located on a small island and help/resources are limited, power also can go out at any time due to frequent power outages on the island - also mentioned in our listing. For this reason, is the renter’s responsibility to make sure to turn everything on at arrival, and off upon leaving. The key was left for you as instructed and help was sought to assist you in locating the key as requested. The pictures clearly show that the beds are in a common area as well. The owner was firm with you and your party after you decided to cut raw meat on top of our brand new tables, leaving blood everywhere and knife marks on the new tables. The blood also left a permanent stain on the table and floors and you nor your party had the decency to even clean up the area. For that reason, your experience became a bad one.

Hi Tim, Thank you for your feedback regarding these issues. My name is Amanda and I am the Property Manager for this vacation rental. First and foremost, I’d like to apologize for your inadequate stay in South Bimini. The owners of the home and I always strive to provide the best service to our guests and hope that we can exceed any and all expectations. However, I can say with certainty, that we did everything possible in order to make your stay as comfortable as can be. In cooperation with the property’s care-taker and a dear family friend who happened to be on the island at the time, we ensured that they would assist you with anything you needed throughout your stay. They were kind enough to show you around the house, take you around South Bimini, and even refill the water tanks for you at no additional cost. Our policy states that guests be mindful when using the water being that the home runs on rainwater/cistern-tanks like almost every home in South Bimini. In addition to that, the beds are brand new and were changed out just before your arrival. The owners of the home also traveled to the home beforehand just to ensure that an outdoor grill was set up for you as requested and verified that everything in the house was functioning as it should be. At that time, no insects were seen inside of the house and no water issues were discovered, but we will be sure to look into this claim for future guests. We would never mislead our guests, as we want them to have as great of an experience as we have had in this home for many years.
