Newly Renovated Summer Island Pt Home Surrounded By Water With Spectacular Views. Completely renovated 3 bedroom 2 bath home for rent. Located in a Private Beach Association. New Kitchen, new bathrooms, all new hardwood floors. Air conditioned.
The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, including dishwasher and microwave. Fully stocked with pots and pans, dinner plates, silverware, glassware. Also a washer and dryer, 3 flat screen TV with DVD, cable and wireless internet.
This view is spectacular from every room in the house. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a flat screen TV, the second bedroom has a queen size bed with a flat screen TV and the third bedroom has a trundle bed.
The back deck is surrounded by water which is perfect for relaxing and watching people kayak in the cove which connects out to L I Sound. Perfect spot to drop your kayak in the water and enjoy the beautiful coastline. For your convenience there is also an out door shower, and a gas grill.
This home is beautifully decorated with open space living room and dining area. The interior porch has a table and chairs, a couch and a view that is magnificent!!!!
Branford has some excellent restaurants within a mile. The Stony Creek Brewery, Guacamole Mexican , Lenny's Seafood, Stony Creek Pizza, The S usingtand and many more.
We are located half way between New York and Boston. Either using I-95 or the Shoreline train which is only 2 miles away with free parking. The outlet malls are only a 20 minute drive (Clinton & Westbrook) Take the a 45 min ride to Mohegan Sun and Foxwood Casino, and for the kids enjoyment Mystic Seaport and Aquarium is only about 45 min. away

My wife really appreciated Lorraine meeting her when she arrived at the house. House is in a great location . Was very clean and well decorated. Really loved the outdoor space and did have opportunity to use the kayaks.

This home is in such a beautiful spot with amazing views of the water. The homeowners were on-site to greet us upon arrival and were very pleasant and accommodating. It is apparent that they take pride in their residence. The VRBO description was accurate and as described. The indoor and outdoor living spaces were very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equpped.

Beautiful inside and out

This attractively decorated house offered so many comfortable group seating and dining locations that it was hard to choose -- and the views from any of those were lovely. Photographs can't do this property justice. The kitchen was very well equipped. And the neighborhood was friendly; we felt welcome on our walks.

Perfect Ending is All That!

The weekend was as perfect as it looked from the pictures. We really enjoyed the views from every window and the kids enjoyed watching the tides come in and out. Summer retreat!

Branford’s shoreline is a hidden gem. And this house is ideally located at the very end of the quite dead end street with incredible views of the sound. The deck is the perfect spot for evening happy hour and sunset watching. The inside of the house is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The hosts could not have been nicer. They communicated well leading up to our visit and greeted us upon our arrival. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding during our stay. Thank you for this wonderful summer retreat! Dave and Wanda.

Great for a weekend getaway! Amazing waterfront location with beautiful views (except for the neighbor’s garage) and comfortable amenities provided by thoughtful hosts. My only issues were with the densely crowded neighborhood (no sense of privacy) and a rather cluttered decor, but neither is a dealbreaker. It’s a very nice, well thought-out home, and we had a good time enjoying the space, kayaking, and swimming nearby.

Beautiful spot on the shore, surrounded by the ocean, and small tidal canal and salt water pond. Excellent CT swimming nearby. The house itself was clean, comfortably air conditioned, and has a very comfortable sunroom with amazing views. We had a wonderful time.

the house is lovely, beautifully and conveniently located and set up for reading and lounging around with wonderful view. We enjoyed swimming in the sound and we enjoyed the little neighborhood in this rather special cul de sac. The outdoor shower was without a doubt the best I knew so far. We look forward to next time.

Bill and I are both retired. I should say I'm retired and Bill is semi retired. He is a developer and is building homes in a development. I am doing volunteering and in the process of starting a Decorating Business. We try to do a lot of traveling and therefore we are able to rent our home.

Why they chose this property

While driving around looking for a place to rent, we came upon this cottage the had a for sale sign lying down on the grass. When we picked it up and saw that it was for sale we immediately did some research. That was the start of our buying this amazing home surrounded by water.

What makes this property unique

Amazing picturesque Views seen from every room in the house which is surrounded by water.
During the winter months our home is available to rent from January thru April for a month at a time
