Lovely Cottage with Lakeside Patio & Dock

This cute 3 bedroom cottage is located within walking distance from the summer home of the Cortland Repertory Theater. The open concept kitchen has new stainless steel appliances with a granite peninsula eating area. The dining room seats 4 with additional seating for 2 at the breakfast counter and 4 more out on the lakeside front patio. The front porch has a handicap ramp with 36 inch wide doors. The living room has a recliner couch, separate recliner, internet, LED TV, electric fireplace, wine cooler, and a storage place filled with puzzles and board games. The downstairs bathroom has a shower/tub, vanity, toilet, high-efficiency washing machine, and electric dryer. There is a pantry/mudroom at the roadside back door. The upstairs has three bedrooms with knotty pine ceilings. The roadside bedroom is set-up with 2 twin beds and a pack and play. The center room has a queen bed. The lakeside bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed. The front and back bedrooms have window air conditioners (summer season). Heat is controlled by the renter by a thermostat and a propane forced air furnace. There is a front stone patio with chairs, a table, BBQ grill and an umbrella. The lakefront area has a picnic table, a park bench, lakeside chairs, ankle deep lake access and a fire pit. Swimming and fishing are optional and relaxing. The cottage is located 2 miles from Bob's BBQ, 9 miles from SUNY Cortland, and 45 minutes from Cornell, Ithaca College and Syracuse University. Parking is right outside the roadside door. Four ski centers are close by. Highland Forest, Labrador Hollow Unique Nature Center and Lime Hollow Nature Center are nearby and offer great year round hiking and cross country skiing.

Adorable cottage on a pretty lake! Loved the views from the comfy enclosed back porch. Very clean. Hosts extremely accommodating. Perfect for our family. Enjoyed the upstairs queen bed with 2 beds in either bedroom off to the sides. 1 queen, 1 full, and 3 twin beds. Nice kitchen and living room. We didn’t get to use the fire pit or back yard due to how quick our trip was, yet they looked inviting too. Safe neighborhood with easy parking across the street. Great BBQ outdoor spot and adorable homemade ice cream location both within 5 minute drive. Plus waterfalls within 30 minutes. Convenient off 1-81. We will be back.

Adorable cottage. Right on the lake, great lake views. Besides all the amenities inside, they provide a grill, fire pit and wood, picnic tables, outdoor furniture. It was the perfect vacation spot.

My family and I were looking for a getaway not too far from home that was spacious enough for our family of five. The home was as described and definitely gave us that home away from home feeling. We enjoyed swimming by the lake, the fire pit and being able to watch the lake directly from the lovely sunroom. The owners were nice and available if needed. Would recommend!

This was the perfect little lodging for our family when we came in town for a baseball tourney. And when I say little- I mean that in a cute way- because this cottage has ample room! Great little lake, we found some hiking trails and walked around the lake a bit. Definitely happy we stayed- absolutely exceeded expectations!
