The bed is a Murphy bed that’s easy to lower and raise. If you'd prefer the bed to be ready upon arrival, just let us know in advance. When the bed is folded up, the comforter may not look as neat as it does in the photos, but rest assured, it remains incredibly comfortable. The bed pillows are in the first cabinet on the lower left.
Lastly, our cabinets are tall! We’ve placed frequently used items on the lower shelves, and a step stool is conveniently located next to the fridge for easier access.

This is a super cute and clean little nest. It is so awesome that it has all the appliances. It is extremely quiet and has lovely views. A super relaxing place to stay!
Perfect for me, I found this property to be quiet, private, and comfortable. It also appeared to me to be an excellent example for anyone considering making a “tiny home.” ArtNest has everything necessary but also everything is first-rate: the appliances, the furnishings from bed to kitchen to bathroom, even the door lock, and especially the many works of art on the walls and tiny pieces in unexpected places for amusement. Melissa is an excellent host. Definitely five stars.
This init is so charming! From the decorations of the interior to the view out the windows. Its in a quiet neighborhood and though its in the backyard, the space is quite private. Not to mention the close proximity to stores and the Safari Park. Melissa was also highly responsive and provided excellent recommendations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Will definitely try to book again next time I visit the area.

About the host
Hosted by Melissa Walker
I have been creating fun spaces for a long list of awesome artists and small businesses for over 20 years. A tiny home has been on my wish list ever since I became a Dwell subscriber over 25 years ago! A portion of all bookings benefit ArtHatch, which provides arts education to at risk teens free of charge. My favorite of my many jobs is being a Mom.
Why they chose this property
We moved into this neighborhood 15 years ago due to the incredible views. It is a great way to wake up every day. In addition to stunning sunrises, you will see hummingbirds outside your window year round as well as butterflies and bees part of the year. We created a sanctuary garden for them that is viewable from your back windows.
What makes this property unique
It's filled with adorable tiny things! I spend way too much money on Etsy preparing for your stay!
