We really liked the cabin. There was not a view of the lake, the deck looked out onto trees, one of which had been blown over and had not been cleaned up yet. You have to carry your luggage down a sidewalk to the cabin. There is not parking for the interior row of cabins. It would be nice to have something to use for hauling your luggage to the cabins. We enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin was very clean. The shower pressure is the best we’ve ever experienced. The “water facing” description is very misleading though. Technically, yes, the cabin is pointed in the direction of the lake, but you can only see a few feet of the water way off in the distance and only if you stood in one spot on the deck. The unit faces the woods. The unit is also not “steps away” from the water as the description says. When I brought this up at checkout, personnel agreed that the description needed to be changed. We booked this unit wanting to see the lake, see our kids fish from the cabin, and be able to get quickly back and forth to the water, so for us, we felt misled. It might not bother others to look at the woods and have a small trek to the shore. One of the sewer depots is by the cabin. When you sit on your porch, you can smell sewer. There is a depot to the right and the left. The cabin is dark. It needs more lighting especially in the kitchen and entry. The free kayaks were a nice touch and the docks were very nice.
