Great stay on North Padre Island

NO PETS or SMOKING POLICY

Our cozy first floor Island Condo has easy access to the beach. Private patio and swimming pool with a boat dock and fishing pier. This is an efficiency Condo, with queen bed and roll-away sofa in the living area, and a well equipped kitchen. Just bring your toothbrush & food.

The Space- This cozy end unit condo is 400 Sq feet in size with a private back patio. Condo is on the ground floor and located near the swimming pool. The space is suitable for a couple, with up to two small children.

You'll have your own Home away from home. It's close to restaurants, the beach, and great fishing.
Port Arkansas and Corpus Christi are 10 to 15 minute away.

Everything you need to be comfortable, including fully furnished kitchen, Tv and wifi internet. Just bring your toothbrush, food and fishing pole.

Guest Access- Port A is just 15 minute drive from the condo and Corpus Christi is only 10 to 15. You can walk to the beach in 10 minutes. A variety of restaurants and convenience foods are also close by.

Interaction with Guest - You'll be met at the beginning of your stay; call for any problems or questions.

The Neighborhood - Closed to everything on a quiet street near the beach. Good restaurants with island cuisine in the area. private fishing dock with easy access to the bay.

Please, No smoking, pets or cleaning fish inside the condo.

This worked for us generally because we were not there long. The mattress and bedding were damp, and the overall building was not as nice as those around it. The photo used is not a view you would have from the property, but maybe half a mile away. The pool seemed nice and the owner was responsive. The kitchen worked well for what we needed. It was a short walk to the beach, which was nice.

Close to beach

Nice clean condo and location, and was close to the beach. Had to email request for the AC to be unlocked from 74 degrees at 1 AM (Nest which can be smart phone controlled) for cooler night sleeping, a box fan helped cool things off a bit. Water heater seemed to not be working for hot water, lukewarm showers at best. Pool was not open due to repair issue I was not aware of until we got there. Had to move furniture for fold out sofa bed to come out all the way. Was clean and well stocked kitchen items, etc.

Don was a great owner to work with! Wish the pool was heated though. You can tell he cares about this unit we had friends in another unit that was in disrepair, they couldn't use their patio because they couldn't get their patio door open or locked. Overall I would rent from Don again!

I was raised in Western Oklahoma, and moved to Texas after attending school and working in the East Coast for a number of years. Soon after moving to San Antonio, I discovered Padre Island and its endless beaches and fishing opportunities. I decided to purchase a beach condo where I could go to relax and enjoy the seashore. However, because of my busy life and work in San Antonio, I don't use this home much of the time, so I decided to share it with others, so that they can enjoy and appreciate this sunny island get-away as much as I do.

Why they chose this property

Padre Island has fantastic fishing, and endless opportunities to enjoy the sunny weather and tranquil beaches. It's the perfect retreat, and a place that I never get tired of.
