Horrible Communication

Unable to get into property with provided instructions. Contacted owner to confirm instructions. She verified info was corrected then went ghost for hours while my family waited outside. Neither vrbo or I was able to contact her. Then hrs later after we gave up and decided to stay elsewhere, she randomly messaged, where you able to get in? Also the gate to access property fell off completely when we entered.

The house was horrible. We were waiting outside of the place for about 20 minutes, knocking and ringing the camera. She gave the wrong code initially to the property. It was dirty, there were crumbs in the bed, trash on the stairs, the stove was dirty not wiped down, bathroom was disgusting and it reeked of dog if sewage. The host was not accommodating or offered any solutions to help the problem. DO NOT BOOK!!

This room was disgusting it's not even fit for anybody to even walk inside and now I'm having trouble getting my money back but if you want bed bugs and cockroaches that's the place to stay

It is unfortunate that you could not provide the proper evidence to support your claims. The guests who stayed right after you did not have an issue. We have cleaners who come in after each guest and right before each guest. I sent photos before and after your stay, to VRBO, which they reviewed and decided not to honor a refund because the property is clean, there are no bugs on the premises. There is pest control not only through our HOA but we also pay for a separate service. It is unfortunate that there are guests, who like to spread false information because they simply don’t like the house. As a host, we can only control cleanliness, not whether someone “likes the home”. We’ve had many guests who have a great time at the property!
