Thank you for your kind words! We're delighted to hear you found the property comfortable and well-suited for your family. We look forward to welcoming you again.
We had a very nice stay. House had plenty of space for our group. Could use a few more cooking utensils and maybe a griddle, but we made the two frying pans work. If you are going to grill, you will need to bring tongs or a better quality spatula. Overall we were comfortable in the house, heat and AC worked well (we needed both ). Liked that each bedroom had their own bathroom and king size beds.

We had a great stay! Bring charcoal if you plan to grill and watch out for bears. Keep your doors locked. We did have a few visitors of bears but they didn't bother us and we didnt bother them. Beautiful place to stay and a very short drive into Gatlinburg and PF.
Great cabin with a view! The hot tub was fantastic after a full day at Dollywood! We saw a mother bear and her cubs one evening. The family had a wonderful time, and if available, we'd stay again next Fall!

Here are the pros and cons of this cabin. These explain why I was overall not happy with it. I won't be staying at this property again.PROS:1) Nice view from the deck2) We saw some bears, which was coolCONS:1) High-clearance vehicle and some bravery are needed to navigate the driveway2) Cabin is advertised as pet-friendly, but there is nowhere nearby to walk your dog3) Infested with bugs (lady bugs and stink bugs)4) Some critters in the walls/ceiling (squirrels or something) that make scratching and other noises at night5) Burglar alarm kept beeping one night and kept us up. Finally I pressed some buttons and got it to stop.6) One of the 4 showers would not get hot; just lukewarm. This was not an issue with the water heater setting, as all the others were plenty hot.7) All 4 showers are the small, stand-up kind where you barely have enough room to move around. Bump into the shower handle and ... ouch!8) One of the downstairs sinks had a leak such that if you used the sink there would be water all over the floor. The wood in the sink cabinet is obviously deteriorated from it, but the owner has never fixed it.I called the office and asked them to fix items 5 and 6. A repair man came out, and tinkered with the burglar alarm and the shower. The burglar alarm didn't beep any more, but he didn't fix the lukewarm shower issue. My daughter had to start using a different bathroom for the duration of our visit.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your challenges and sincerely appreciate your input. We hope you'll consider giving us another chance in the future.
We stayed here for 4 days. Most of the experience was positive. The check in/out process is a breeze. They checked on us with a courtesy call to make sure everything was alright. The cabin is gorgeous. The view is really breath taking. It was nice to sit in the hot tub and enjoy it. The outdoor fireplace either didnt work, or you have to do more than just turn the knob and we didnt know anything more about it which was a bit disappointing. We have been to other places where weve had water issues, cooling issues, hot tub issues and everything here worked (except fireplace). On night 2 we even had a bear come walking through the side and was cool watching it from the cabin. There was just one major downfall, and that is I would suggest to renters to have a truck for the driveway. The driveway is very steep, and my car got stuck and bottomed out and scraped the whole way down, as well as the nose of the car (and we were going slow). I have a toyota corolla, a pretty standard car. I called the owner because we knew we had to somehow get it back up and then find a different place to park. She said that she hadnt had any other complaints, but I can tell you there were marks all over that driveway where other people had to have also bottomed out. She told me that the driveway was recently re-done, and that just tells me that many cars have done the same thing in a short period of time. We finally found a different way to park. Glad we came.
