Indulge in the splendor of majestic Lake Superior in this very private, four season, lakefront retreat immersed in nature. New cottage refresh April 2024 including new paint (walls and ceiling) and new vinyl plank flooring throughout. The spacious open concept design and large windows allow you to relish in the gorgeous view of Mink Bay and surrounding cliffs. Enjoy the convenience of a kitchen with basic sundries and a washer & dryer for longer stays. Pamper yourself in the hot tub after a day of hiking/snowshoeing the scenic trails and enjoy the stars...they shine brighter here! Please note that VRBO requires us to disclose the location and coverage of our security camera in this description. We have one actively recording outdoor security camera to monitor the driveway / shed at the cottage.

Located in Neebing, this cottage is in a rural area and on a lake. Founders' Museum & Pioneer Village and Fort William Historical Park are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Loch Lomond Ski Area and Fort William Country Club. Thunder Bay Observatory and Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall Of Fame are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

We (Brian, Catharine and Eloise) live in Thunder Bay and enjoy escaping to our cottage whenever we can. We love sharing our getaway with guests and strive to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Why they chose this property
A gorgeous lakefront property on spectacular north shore of Lake Superior. And yes we do have lake access right out front so you are welcome to bring your water toys, go for a quick dip if you are brave or just sit on the shore and enjoy the view. We are located approximately 45 minutes from the Thunder Bay Airport (YQT) and the city of Thunder Bay proper. To our American guests, our cottage is 45 minutes (30 miles) from the Pigeon River Border Crossing and 5 1/2 hours (330 miles) from Minneapolis/Saint Paul
What makes this property unique
Quiet, private, peaceful getaway with all the amenities including a salt water hot tub. Scenic hiking trails for all abilities overlooking Lake Superior and surrounding islands.
