•Spacious 1,370 square feet interior which accommodates up to 6 people. •Central living room with vaulted ceilings and queen sleeper. •Fully stocked kitchen with clothing washer/dryer and full-sized dining area. •Private master bedroom with king-sized bed. *Private second bedroom with two double beds. •Two dual-sink bathrooms, one featuring a large walk in shower and the master bathroom features a large soaker tub and walk in shower. •TV’s in both bedrooms & living room. •Private balcony with a lounging sofa and al-fresco dining area. •Gulf course, pond w/fountain, and mountain views from this Villa. *Free WiFi. •Five swimming pools with amenities including a 170’ slide, two golf courses, two tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball court, BBQs, fire rings, three ponds—one for fishing (which you can view from this Villa). •As little as 20 minutes from the ocean, 30 minutes from San Diego, and two hours from Disney Land depending on traffic. But you might never want to leave the resort!

We purchased our Villa #192 in 1987 and have enjoyed going there the first week in August almost every year since then.
Our two boys (now in their 30s) still love the location and have such great memories from being little babies to currently going with their wives and now with our new grandbaby.
When you visit the Welk Resort, you will have access to all the amenities any owner would have! Enjoy.

Why they chose this property

The resort hosts activities each day of the week. One of our favorites is the Farmers Market on Mondays. Plus lots of crafts for kids of all ages.
If you have a car, the SD Zoo's Safari (aka wild animal park) is close by.
Right at the resort are two golf courses, five pools, one lap pool, indoor and outdoor spas, pool and ping-pong tables, exercise equipment, and a climbing wall. I'm sure I missed something for the active crowd.
Right at the resort for the more relaxed vacationers, are puzzles, books, craft events, a small market, a boutique, Pizza Hut, a full restaurant, a small bar, and, of course, The Lawrence Welk Theater--check the website for shows and showtimes.

Everything is there that you might want. It's nice to have a car, but totally not needed
