Nestled in the heart of town, this newly designed basement apartment offers the perfect blend of high-end comfort and Montana charm. Centrally located, the Milwaukee Trail, downtown Missoula and the University are just minutes away! Enjoy local coffee shops, a quick trip to the Good Foods store, and local parks nearby.

We have created a cozy and quaint basement apartment with all the charm of historic Missoula that features new and modern amenities. You will have your own private space and entrance into the basement, including kitchenette, laundry and full bathroom, as well as the use of our backyard, fire pit, BBQ and patio furniture.

While the lower unit is completely private and reserved just for guests, the upstairs of the home is not rented out. On occasion, the owner may stay upstairs while in Missoula for work. His visits are brief, and he maintains a quiet and respectful presence. There are no shared spaces, so your comfort and privacy will always be a priority.

We have free parking on site for our guests - and you can get anywhere within Missoula within 8 minutes and bike/walk to nearby parks and coffee shops.

Property was as described. They were dog friendly which was a requirement for us. Owner was willing to accommodate us on the dog policy. The location is perfect to access downtown.

Clean property with lots of extras like coffee, laundry supplies, kitchen items, coffee maker and coffee. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Right across from an elementary school. Beds were comfortable.

Family visit

We were in Missoula helping with our grandson for 7 days. The unit was spacious for 2 people with 2 bedrooms and a small comfortable family room. We basically utilize this property for breakfast and sleeping. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen area had a toaster oven, frig, microwave, coffee maker and a dishes. There was no sink in the kitchen thus we used the bathroom sink for water and wash out our coffee cups. They did provide paper cups and plates if you wanted to go that route. The majority of the time we were the only ones in this house however when the upstairs was occupied we could hear some of the noise from the people moving around. It was a cute well stocked VRBO with amazing host.

We really appreciate your thoughtful comments about the kitchen area. While the kitchenette is designed for light use, we understand the convenience a full sink would provide and are always looking at ways to improve the guest experience. It’s great to hear the paper products and other essentials helped during your stay. We also want to kindly clarify that the upstairs space is not rented out to other guests — it’s part of the same property but occasionally used by family, which we try to coordinate carefully to avoid overlap. That said, we truly appreciate your feedback about sound and will take that into consideration moving forward to ensure even more comfort and privacy for our guests. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you back next time you're in Missoula!
