My family and I stayed at Kerry’s place this past week, and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage is cozy and homey, and provided us with more than enough room for our two little kids and all the ‘stuff’ that comes with them! It was clean and tidy and just felt like home. The screened in porch was great - my husband and I spent many evenings unwinding on the rocking chairs, enjoying the view of the lake. When we weren’t cozy on the porch we were enjoying the lakeside fire pit which had a great view too. We loved having the yard space between the cottage and the lake which was perfect for outside lawn games. Our kids spotted little fish right off the dock, and had so much fun swimming the days away. There was plenty of room for parking - our 24 ft trailer fit nicely in the driveway area, with tons of room for our minivan and then some. The neighbors were very sweet and kind. I should mention how attentive and responsive Kerry was too - she was exceptional in her timely responses and was super helpful throughout our stay. Needless to say we will absolutely be visiting again!!

Great property with great views. Kerry was amazing to work with, she answered any and all questions I had very quickly. The house was extremely clean and well equipped. (each bedroom came with fans). Side note: Toilet paper and paper towels were supplied, however the ask was that you replace what you use, which is completely understandable. Just a heads up as the description did not say that, we left extra incase you do not :-)The porch was a great place for game night. No one missed not having a tv.The dock was clear of rocks and had plenty of room for our 20 inch bass boat. The water is very clear and swimmable. One note, if you need to charge your boat batteries and do not want to take them out of the boat to do so, you will need at least a 200 foot extension cord, the closest power outlet is on the porch (if you use the one that the ceiling light plugs into, do not turn the light switch off, it controls the outlet.) The lake is big and has lots of small mouth bass, that were initially hard to find. The neighbors were very welcoming. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. We also used the bunkhouse, it was perfect for additional guests, very clean! The location is easy to find, extremely quiet and has great views. We rent lake houses in Maine every summer and this one tops the list!

Proud third-generation owners of our camp on Great Pond. We love to host friends and family, enjoy great food & wine, read in the hammock, and all of the water sports. Our little family includes my husband, our toddler, and our Italian water dog.

Fun fact: we got married on the lawn and drove a motor boat to the Village Inn for our wedding reception.

Why they chose this property

My grandfather turned an abandoned, neglected fishing camp into what it is today. We love our spot in the cove. Every year there is a loon family that nests nearby and we get to enjoy watching the baby loon grow.
